Great work out
This is a great work out. It's not as fancy as some of the others, but if you're looking to burn some calories and pump up your heart rate, this will do it.

Fun fun fun
Easy to learn. Whole segment on learning steps first. She walks you through each step and you practice before the dance section. You can rewind as many times as you like, to learn the steps, but truthfully…she goes slow introducing each step even during the dance/workout section. You can have 2 left feet and still learn to country line dance. So much fun. Most enjoyable workout and all you need is 5 x 5 space in front of tv. Anybody can do it.

Gives me confidence!
I am not coordinated at all but I thought dancing would be a fun new workout routine that I would hopefully stick to better than the elliptical if it was more fun. Amy Blackburn (instructor) is amazing. I don't find her annoying at all and she teaches the dances in small pieces before doing the whole dance. She goes slowly and leads with saying the next step right before she does it so you know what's coming and can keep up. I've always had confidence issues and I'm a little on the heavy side so I was skeptical at first but I've been doing this video for almost a year now and I still love it! I had only been doing it 3 days a week for about a month before I started noticing a difference. I don't weight myself so I can't say if it works as a weight loss regime but my confidence is higher than it has ever been in my life! I find myself breaking out in these moves just while cleaning the house or goofing around. I've never felt so good about myself and I absolutely owe it to this dance workout. I now alternate between this video and the Firm Up one. They're both absolutely wonderful!

Light to moderate intensity dance workout. Need to rewind and practice steps on your own.
This video is not as good as the Country Line Dance Party (which I love), but it is not boring as stated in the other review. You need to watch the step guide a few times to cue up your memory of the dance steps that are being used. You will work up a light sweat, so not an intense work out. There are not as many opportunities to practice moves before linking on to a previous move, so it is best to rewind and practice again on your own...otherwise, it is frustrating to go on. Mastery of one move is essential to picking up the next sequence. Also, the clothing choices for the dancers are just odd. The Country Line Dance Party, which is a newer, is better in all of the weak areas of this video. More opportunies to practice during the step guide, and during the dances. The clothing choices are MUCH better as well!

So much fun you forget you're exercising!
I bought this dvd after watching some of the routines on youtube and at collagevideo.com. The dances are easy to do & the instructor, Amy Blackburn, will break them down for you during the routine, then she gradually adds each dance into the routine. Also, there is a separate "Step Guide" section on the dvd that walks you through each dance move. I enjoy myself so much when I'm doing this that I forget I'm exercising! You will definitely work up a sweat when working out to this dvd. If you like having a bit of fun while exercising then this one is definitely for you!

It'll Work You ...
If you are looking for a true line dance video I really do not think this is it. The music is not popular country songs but ones used to workout to. Also the dances are not your line dances you will do at the dance hall, instead they consist of elements of various line dances put together to create unique routine for a work-out video. In some ways it kind of reminded me of doing modified aerobic routines. Now ... all of that aside ... it WILL work you out (aerobically and physically) and it is fun if you get past what you may be expecting (well, I should say what I was expecting ;0)

Dance Off the Inches: Country Line Dance Party
I love this workout!! The country dance moves make exercising fun. I've been using this for 3 weeks now. I started off with only 10-15 minutes and have worked my way up to 30 minutes now as it was pretty intense at first compared to what I was used to, which was only walking on the treadmill for exercise. This workout makes you sweat! There are a lot of moves to each dance but it's easy to get the hang of with repetition. The step-guide at the beginning is beneficial but I only needed it once since Amy has you repeat the moves several times (before putting all the moves together) for each dance exercise. Some reviews complained about the music, this wasn't an issue for me. If you want REAL country music you can always use your stereo in the background. This workout is really worth trying.

So fun to do
So fun to do! The instructor adds steps gradually so you can end up getting the moves even the first time. You do end up sweating to the point that you think you will not do the next one (there are 3 dances so you could decide to do one 2 or 3) but you find it very fun so you end up going on & finishing the DVD without even realizing you are actually doing some cardio. Great for people who cannot stand cardio!

Yee-haw!
This is a fun and sweaty workout, I enjoy both routines. I love Zumba, and this was a nice change from that.

Bad music
Although this is super fun and burns loads of calories and I like the instructor, the music is terrible. It's just instrumental and nothing recognizable. If the music was better I'd give it 5 stars

Not great for a workout
Not great for a workout. Too fast and the music isn't something I want to exercise to. I wanted to learn to line dance but this isn't the video to do it with
