Stop Snoring Chin Strap by SleepPro,

I originally bought the less expensive item, in order to see if it would work as it stated. It did, and worked well, stayed on all night, etc., but I found that the openings for the ears, which held the item in place, were really too small and uncomfortable. I decided then to splurge for the SleepPro version, as the photo shows a much larger area for the ears, and looks as though it would be more comfortable, It certainly was more comfortable, but did not stay in place at all, during sleep. After 3 or 4 nights, I stopped using this, as the chinstrap was moving all over the place, so it was ineffective.

The item has been reasonably effective but it takes some time to get used to it. It is not entirely comfortable but, on the other hand, it is difficult to see how it could be effective if it were. In the end it comes down to accepting a certain levelof discomfort in return for some improvement regarding the snoring, which is, after all, the whole point of getting it. On balance, I would say the device has helped.

I find that this strap on it's own makes little or no difference to my snoring - due to the stretchy nature of the material it still allows the mouth to be opened and I still wake up with a dry mouth. It is fairly comfortable to wear but on it's own it is NOT a cure for snoring. Perhaps it will work better with the mouthpiece.

Am going to keep on trying to wear this - it feels very strange. Haven't been able to get to sleep without removing it, but that may be due to having long, thick hair which makes wearing this a very toasty endeavour. Keep getting my hair stuck in the Velcro too!

Doesn't fit properly, I had to add an extra strap on the rear otherwise it would dig into my ear. It does hold your chin up but it also pulls it back. Everything needs to be brought forward to stop the snoring, so you probably snore more but because your mouth is shut its not as loud. Just found it more hassle than it's worth.

I am very pleased with the effectiveness of the product. They do not wash by machine very well.

The only positive is that unlike other chin straps this does stay on when you have long hair. But the neoprene is too thick and hot, the edging fabric is incredibly itchy and the chin seam becomes painful after an hour. And finally, doesn’t keep your mouth shut - a waste of money - avoid!
