The half-shell heroes go full throttle on their final missions! First they battle their way through a mutant wasteland in a 90-minute post-apocalyptic feature. Then, the Turtles travel to an alternate dimension inhabited by animal warriors and ally themselves with the great rabbit samurai Usagi Yojimbo in order to defeat an evil sorcerer. And when Savanti Romero threatens to take over New York with his monstrous army, they gear up to clash with some classic movie monsters. Plus, old enemies return for an shocking rumble in a special double episode when Newtralizer and Lord Dregg make their way into Earth's atmosphere!

3D TMNT! Ahh! The Final Episodes..
So, I’m breaking up the chapters, last review of this series from me. I enjoyed the ride and was glad to have given it a chance.————RAPHAEL: MUTANT APOCALYPSE————I don’t even know what to make of this set, an alternate universe, a nod to a future story, a bunch of Easter eggs mashed into a special, or a what if story but man, did it start out grim and fun. This place I’m calling it a special.. Starts off in a dystopian world with a now much older, battle hardened, bearded, and amnesiac Raphael, and Metalhead 2.0 (which reminds me of Chappie.) 59 years after the events you’ve been watching. There is no longer any humans left, only mutants. Can’t help but wonder what happened to April, Kirby, Casey, Baxter or something or the other humans we’ve grown to like or dislike this series. Some of the other turtles may or may not have survived. It’s like mad max with our turtle heroes, they befriend a new mutant, a Meerkat that seems like an entirely new character (to me). With this series being heavily littered with movie references, this was welcomed and seems the norm. I would gladly have welcomed this as a separate series to be honest. The scenery is cool, the older and experienced version of our heroes is always fun to see. I just like time jump series at times. The end battle and reveal of the bad guy at the end though, felt really obvious and rushed at the end of it. But, somehow a happy-ish ending we could hope for in a this Mutant dominated world/future.Apparently this is meant to be an alternate dimension and probably isn’t canon in any shape or form. The more I think of it I wish each turtle got their own special like this or another alternate dimension story.————MONSTERS VS MUTANTS————“Monsters vs Mutants” is a four episode special that pretty much felt like a tribute to the classic horror movie monsters, with some time travel and time masters making their return. You’ll see monsters like Dracula, a Werewolf, a Mummy, and Frankenstein’s monster. It’s a pretty fun story and if it was a movie on its own instead of broken up in episodes I’d have no problem with that.—————“WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE”—————“When Worlds Collide” is a two parter special that I wish they just wrapped up like a movie as well. It starts off all Turtles but one, is.. Well, lovey dovey with their crush, all but one turtle. If you’ve been watching up until you know which turtle is alone until he picks up a distress message in his space helmet (from our heroes adventures in space). Some old enemies come back and try to invade Earth, another enemy re-emerges with new powers, and some allies from space make their way to earth on a manhunt for one of their own, gone rogue. Some characters seemed a little out of character this special but I’m sure it was to make relationships canon or put some kind of closure on things. I just felt some of the stuff they set up went unanswered and why there wasn’t a final episode with everyone accounted for or one of those “so-so went on to do this, do that, etc”I really enjoyed it, and kinda wish this spawned another season.————THE SAMURAI————“The Samurai” is another special that is three episodes. Our heroes are thrown into a dimension that’s like feudal Japan but with mutants or animals only.We get to see the rabbit ronin Miyamoto Usagi, again! (With his upcoming series this was welcomed updated appearance in a Turtles series) it was an interesting feature and I know very little of Miyamoto. But this special, his previous appearance, and his upcoming series, I think I’ll look into him as well.At the end of this all, I loved this series, all the voices grew on me and I wish this show got another few seasons. The 3D animation even grew on me and I really hope it gets either another movie or some kind of spin-off.Especially since Nickelodeon gave Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the loving treatment it did (sarcasm, just in case) I’m guessing “When Worlds Collide” or “Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady” is the official ending but I really wish there was a more “this is how it ended, here’s a nice wrap up, and see you next time” type of ending. At least Rise of TMNT got that, and if that series gets a movie, I’m sure it’ll wrap everything up even more. If possible.I’m really hoping either release the entire collection on blu ray, or an updated format.Or that they still release them in an updated format but instead tell you what season you’re currently on because some of these episodes felt like I was skipping around or might’ve missed some things between the collections. I just wish they’d organize these better because I definitely watched the last two dvd sets out of order.

Love it
The 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was on Hulu it had the seasons and the day they removed it was real sad. I decided to buy them all and it was so worth it. I rather have them on dvd then watch them on a streaming app only for them to remove it from said app. If you love this series get it all on dvd.

Finally Completed My 2012 TMNT Collection
The end of a great show. I've been with this show since it first aired on Nickelodeon. I'm glad to own the entire collection now. It's something I'll definitely revisit and watch in the future👍

Watch in any order, but leave Mutant Apocalypse for last to properly signify "The End".
After watching "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady", it was time for the finale to the greatest incarnation of the TMNT in history. I loved seeing old and new heroes and villains return/appear, and as far as endings go, the Mutant Apocalypse episodes were a shocking and amazing way to end an era.

great dvd
This a great ending to a great show. This has the turtles fighting monsters, going to a samari world and meeting Usagi and trying to survive in a mutant apocalypse. Would recommend for any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan.

Enigmatic
Four stories. The first out of nowhere, post apocalyptic, set in the future. And it sure is dark. Even the ending is surprisingly bitter sweet - one of the most enigmatic stories, really, for its beginning and end. The next story is like a Halloween special with classic monsters. It's good to see Rennet again. The third has the strongest connection to previous storylines of the series, with a reunion of many characters - this should have been the final episode. The last, though, has the turtles pulled into a world that has Yojimbo, which wraps up the entire series with this surprise inclusion. As a fan of the original comics, it was nice. With the disappointing non-conclusion of the return of Shredder through dragon demon magic in Super Shredder (they resurrected him and then just stopped?), this set is a nice way to get some wrap up of this version of the TMNT universe. Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady is supposed to be the actual end.
