Voice-Over for Animation

Okay, I've finally READ the entire book, and it's GREAT. You folks did a magnificent job on it, M. Jai and Jean! Thanks for the many mentions in the book, and for creating a book that is cream of the crop. =D <3 I HIGHLY recommend this book for beg-int-adv students, everywhere! With detailed chapters, sample scripts and copy, as well as a CD to listen to, you've got everything you need to understand the biz of voice-acting. Buy it.... you'll be glad you DID! ~Gary G.

Very good information about every part of animation voice over including voice exercises, dialects, and doing a demo CD. Would have liked a little more on creating characters and some specificity to animation in more areas, but overall lots of information on how to go about getting into voice-over and what it really takes in terms of practice, costs, etc.

I found the book to be very comprehensive, covering both basic and advanced techniques and, even more interestingly, outlining the production aspects of the business--how films are produced, made and voiced; who does the casting; what do the various industry job titles mean. It encourages the beginner as well as the advanced artist to cultivate his/her craft and his/her self marketing. Very informative and highly recommended.

This is a great VO animation book. Tells you all the details on how to find your voices and save them, plus all about the business of getting in. Great Book!!!!

I bought this book for someone interested in doing voice-over work and they love it. It has lots of information and is written in a fun and interactive way. I would buy other books by this author.
