This butter dish is simply puuurrfect! It covers 1 standard stick of butter. However if for some reason for example, while baking you have to leave out multiple sticks of butter to soften, the base without the cover can fit two sticks of butter. It's a little hard to clean inside the cover by hand, for it has very uneven surfaces. I do not recall if it's dishwasher safe, but I'm pretty sure it is. It kept the butter soft and spreadable, without any compromised taste. It kept the butter fresh.It's really an eye catching piece that is sure to be a conversation piece for any cat lover. It's functional and very cute!

This is a very cute, well made butter dish. My only complaints are that the bottom is wide enough to hold 2 sticks of butter, but the top wont quite fit over 2 sticks, so you can only store one stick of butter. Otherwise, it exactly fits the bill and I love it!

It has a discoloured dent in its forehead that I don't like. It holds the butter just fine but esthetically a bit disappointing.
