This mesh door is extremely high quality, using thick strong adhesive and velcro around the entire perimeter of your doorway to ensure that once in place, it does not move or detach from your door. You pass directly through the middle and the magnets close the screen behind you to keep out bugs while allowing light and air to pass through. The mesh is heavy and well constructed and the magnets are sewn into the fabric and will not fall out. Cheaper screens of this type had issues with not enough adhesive to hold onto the doorway, or small magnets that fell off the mesh, and cheap thin mesh that would tear and fray. None of that here this thing is solid and strong. Thick velcro is included for the top, and thinner strips for the side, but it covers the entire length of the doorway, which makes all the difference as cheaper versions have just a few short strips to attach at spaced intervals. Metal thumbtacks are included to provide temporary mounting support or reinforce the velcro if needed. Cheaper versions come with plastic tacks. If you want a screen door that works, get this one you wont be disappointed.

For only $18, this should actually be 5 stars. However, it doesn't seal at the bottom, so many people might not like that. The tighter you can get it on your door, the tighter it will pull at the bottom, keeping it straight but, you can't have it pulled too tight or the magnets won't connect in the center. Thereby leaving you with a little slack at the bottom. Those needing a perfect seal at the bottom will need to come up with something for that if they get this screen.That said, this turned out to be a great item I ordered. It was super easy to put up. I didn't follow the instructions provided by the company on how to install this, because they had you lay the screen flat on the floor, attach the velcro to all 3 sides, then hold up the entire screen as you also slowly peel back the backing to expose the sticky side and try to hang it properly, a little at a time, while also dealing with and holding the entire time, a long, awkward screen that splits open in the middle... What?? No way, I'm gonna do this woman's way. My way - I made sure the wood frame was dry and clean, then proceeded to peel off the backing on the velcro and stick it to the wood frame, making sure that I had a tiny little rise in the middle of the top velcro piece, as per instructions. Then I put the screen on the velcro that was already in place. I could make adjustments as needed. I didn't have to worry about messing up and hanging it wrong, ruining the sticky side because I had to redo it, etc, all while trying to hold up this awkwardly long screen that splits all the way up the middle, making it difficult to keep in place. Can you tell I got frustrated trying to do it the instruction's way?! :-)This is a great screen and I'm really glad we got it!!

We just started having some cool breezy days WITH BUGS and I was so glad I had my screen ready to install. Basically attach a two sided velcro border sticky side to the house. The screen that is one large piece with a slit up and down the middle lined with magnets. Press the velcro border of the screen to the house. It has been doing a great job keeping out the bugs including mosquitos but there is a tiny little something that seems to be small enough to get through. I haven't been able to catch to identify but so far there haven't been more than a couple and they don't buzz or sting. It's really nice to have the breeze blow through my office while I'm working. The fresh air is refreshing. Soon summer will come and the cool breezes will be less common. Still, it's nice to enjoy what I can. This is terrific. It works. I like it.

This magnetic screen allows everyone to come in and out hands free. Great when grilling or eating outdoors, carrying things back and forth or allowing puppies to come and go freely (though one of my older dogs has not figured it out yet). Keeps bugs out well. It was super easy to install. Only requires a small ladder to reach top door frame. There's enough flexibility in the design to be an inch or two off in measurements, but no more. Be sure you measure where the bottom will meet the floor. I first installed it just slightly too low which made it drag the floor inside and did not allow for a snug catch in the middle. Slight adjustment fixed that and now it closes easily every time it's opened. I even find that it provides a little bit of shade and also a small temperature variation from inside to outside, so even if the outside temps are a little warm there's some protection from the heat getting inside.

So I used the strips that came with it, but it came off. I ended up getting command strips to kind line it with. I preclean the area and I scuffed it a bit this time. I put the tape on first. I applied the pressure and waited a day before peeling and putting up the barrier. I also let it rest for a day before using that door. For extra protection I added a few tacks. It works like a charm. A Florida need.

Summer is around the corner and I always had an issues with crickets and insects coming into my home. This is definitely worth the buy! My bf had no issues installing and the magnets are strong. This product is worth considering if u like to leave the door open to let fresh air in or for parties.

We managed to get this to cover 99% of the door area after forming it to our specific setup. The process itself wasn't too difficult, the tape adhered to the clean surface with no issues.The magnets open and snap back closed easily.There is an added difficulty to getting in and out with it on but it's not a huge deal.
