Yes, I currently have it on my Balcony in NYC. Currently 16 degrees. hits 5 degrees at night. Bamboo is extremely resiliant.

Q: Is the bamboo treated against termite infestation?

I have never heard of termites in bamboo Termites tend to burrow into beams and thick wood But I love my bamboo it looks great in my back yard

Q: Is this bamboo stained or carbonized (specific process using heat and steam to set the color)?

I have no idea. I did apply a stain sealer as well. Love the result.

Agreed I got mine from home depo for 82. 00. Exactly the same product. But they're sold out now.
