Mars 22-Blade Coat King Rake, Wide

This is ideal for removing the fluffy hair from my Working Cocker Spaniel. Helps to keep her looking smooth and groomed. A great addition to the grooming box. Wish I’d had one years ago. Easy to use and is very well made.

I purchased the 22 King coat tool for my working cocker spaniel. I read the reviews from other spaniel owners and hoped it would de fluff and shape my dogs coat. Due to neutering recently his coat had become bulky. He has always had a shiny, silky coat, lovely feathering. Being black I have got use to short, under hairs gathering on the floors. I have always groomed and used professional dog scissors on him. Today I am so impressed with the coat king. Easy to use, de fluffs and my dog still has his sleek, shiny top coat. I have not groomed him too much as I wanted to keep shape and not take off too much fluff. Or make an error. It is amazing how it gets fluff and under hairs out. No instruction in the packaging, so I took advice from Internet on its use with spaniels, and comments left by other owners tips were so useful. Excellent product and I am so pleased with dogs coat now. Dog is happy too its a warm day, and he is playful , rolling over etc happy behaviour! Use to brushing so not afraid of the coat king. Worth the money and would recommend for working cocker.

I read about this coat rake just recently and thought it was worth finding out more about it. This version is expensive and the person who had written about it was talking about the fluffy coat on some cocker spaniels and how this specific gizmo really helps sort it out. Well, I am mighty pleased that I purchased this - the rake arrived just a short time ago and so far it has taken out far more hair in some few strokes through her coat than I could have imagined possible, with the least stress to my young dog. I'd imagine that doing this regularly will mean that there is far less dog hair coming out, the fluff disappearing, and all far more easily than any other brush I have ever had for any of my beloved dogs in the last half century. I am so pleased that I decided to follow my hunch that this would be good - it is really amazing and really pretty marvellous. Hard to credit how effective it is.

Quality thinning comb but a tad pricey

We have a cocker spaniel, and yes she just loves diving into the woods, chasing deer and squirrels through the undergrowth and jumping into muddy ponds. The net result is that her coat becomes matted and full of twigs and debris. This tool is very good and thinning out the coat and making it more manageable. Also as she sheds her under-coat it also helps keep down (but not stop) dog hair everywhere. You have to be a bit careful using it especially on her belly as it is quite coarse and it is possible to get too enthusiastic. However a massive improvement on a standard comb when used sensibly and she is quite happy to be "done". She looks a lot smarter now!

I bought this for my cocker, who has a lot of hair! Between grooms the undercoat begins to show through the coat on his back, shoulders, rump and flanks and makes him look very untidy. It also all eventually finds its way into the vacuum but not before floating around the house for a while. I just used this for the first time and within 10 minutes he is looking as smooth and shiny as an otter. The amount of under coat that came out was quite alarming to be honest. He isn’t shy to tell me if I am hurting him when being groomed, he didn’t give any indication whilst using this and actually seemed to quite enjoy having his neck done. I’m not going to attempt his feathers but this should drastically extend the time between professional grooming.It’s expensive but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I’m going to order one for my grandmother, whose golden retriever could certainly do with one!

This makes such a difference, incredible how much fur it brushes out!

A bit expensive but will pay for itself in the long run a few times over ........... what I mean by that is you might find like us that the dog (Cocker in this case) probably needs to go to the groomers less often - maybe 4 times a year rather than 5 for example (so £38 cost covered), as we used to think he's getting a bit fluffy time for the groomers. But now with this we can keep him looking good for longer - and he is happy as we do it - previous pet brushes have irritated him (especially the Furminator .... he really dislikes that). So we use this first, which brings out the clumps, then when he's neat just go over him with a (humans) tangle teaser now and again.

Dietro consiglio di una allevatrice ho acquistato questo pettine, un po' costoso rispetto altri modelli..Grazie alle sue lame a uncino riesce togliere il pelo morto o aggrovigliato, senza che il cane o gatto sentano alcun dolore, per via della sua forma dolce al contatto con la pelle..In poche passate è già pieno di pelo, facile da pulire e buona impugnatura.

je possède un airdal que je suis obligé de faire toiletter, avec ce démèloir je pense le faire beaucoup moins souvent.on enlève beaucoup de poils avec ce système.

cardatore ottimo questo con 30lametoglie tantissimo sotto pelo al cane in maniera facile e maneggevole.lo consiglio . solo il prezzo mi sembra un pò eccessivo.

Lo utilizzo sul mio schnauzer. Toglie tantissimo pelo morto e non fa male (quando lo vede la mia Athena non scappa!!!!) ottimo acquisto. Robusto e maneggevole
