I didn't need the hole thing just the plug but hey the plug fixed the problem so I didn't have to buy a whole new cooler

Did not fit my cooler it was to small

This little drain plug and a bit of garden hose can help you recycle your spent ice water so you can use it for wash up when you are camping off the grid. Fits a Yeti cooler perfectly.

I used this drain to empty water from Yeti cooler, while on vacation in SUV. I have a non skid cargo protector in my SUV. When I travel for several days and have cooler with me, I empty any water from the ice at the end of the day. With the non skid cargo protector, I have to lift the heavy Yeti full of ice and food to empty the water.. by using this connector, I was able to connect a tube to the connector and leave the Yeti in place when draining. It prevented having to lift and strain with the cooler. I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, because there were a few drips of water each day on the cargo mat at the connector. It certainly did not leak bad, but there was a very slight leakage. A hand towel, if used, would have collected any leakage as it was very slight. I did have to use my own 1/2” tube connector to screw to the hose threads on this connector and then use the cap provided on the end of the tubing. Worked very nicely.

Fits perfectly, does not leak and makes the cooler easy to drain.

Plugged the hole

Works with Magellan 35qt coolers. It's "snug" so line it up by hand until it stops. (Should be 1/3 to 1/4 in.) Then I used channel locks and turned "slow" to seat it. Works great!.
