The solicone moulds perfectly to ones ear, is very comfortable and stays perfectly in place, maintaining a good seal as to not let unwanted sound in. Actually used these for going to a metal concert and worked like a charm.

I didn't really know what to expect as these are a totally different design of ear plug than any I have encountered before... and they're so cool! I had thought the material might set hard after moulding but they stay soft, which is great as you can continually remould them and make sure you've got a good fit. They're quite obvious in the ear when you use the whole piece of silicone - I think I have quite small ears so that's maybe contributing - but I also got on well with splitting one piece in half so it's less obvious, which I think might be better for using at gigs. When using the whole piece, they did really well under water and felt much more protective than standard ear plugs. Great for just getting a bit of peace and quiet too.

Effective as ear plugs. Maybe the best I have used from a noise reduction point of view. However, I found them to be really uncomfortable and stopped using them after 2 nights. There are good instructions on how to use them. From a personal perspective, they weren’t for me. But the item is really good and very effective.

I've tried ton of earplugs and nothing beats the silicone ones. The price is always very competitive compared to the well known high street pharmacy.

My search for a peaceful life and undisturbed sleep continues. These ear plugs are a huge disappointment.The only positives are: they are malleable, comfortable, can be split in half for smaller ear canals, they don't irritate my ears so are suitable for sensitive skin.These alpine earplugs provided absolutely no reduction in noise level. I followed the fitting instructions and tested them out this weekend just gone.The result is, I can still hear conversations outside my bedroom door. I can still hear construction works going on outside my house. I can even hear my bedside fan clearly.Removal requires being gentle and slow.These earplugs promised a lot but failed to deliver.The price point is expensive but I am willing to pay anything for a good night's sleep.I don't want them to go to waste so will use the earplugs for swimming but that's it.

I love the concept of these ear plugs.They come with two plugs in a case and a further case of 10.There is an instruction sheet which explains you need to kneed the silicon so that it is soft, and then roll it into a ball, and then apply to the ear.After following the steps the silicon felt comfortable, but there was only a very small reduction in noise, I could still hear, for example the drone of a computer fan. They claim a 20 decibel reduction.They would be very comfortable to wear in bed, and I can see how they would work to keep ears dry when swimming, but to allow concentration on a commuter train etc etc they simply do not have the noise reduction capability that I need.If they were effective they would have 5 stars, I love the idea, the case for carrying them with you etc etc. But at the end of the day they need to work, and so I am only able to give three stars.

Easy to use and stay in well. I have been using the same plugs for 4 days and they are still good to reuse, I just rinse between uses. There is more than enough silicone, maybe a bit too much for small ears like mine. I have pulled about a third of a blob of silicone off each so these will last me even longer as I will be able to make extras with the bits I've removed.
