Pretty disappointed to see the outer side is a foil-looking thing and the strips to hold it to the window are simply velcro. Looks incredibly ugly from outside, though it does perform well at blocking out sunlight

Blackout Blind, 300x145cm====================It's cheap material but very functional - I’ve seen other blackouts which are a lot thicker. These are very thin materials - black on one side and a matt silver on the other. The folded sheet is so thin that the one I got is stuck together on the silver side, but the stuck sides do peel off each other. One advantage of the thin blackout is that it doesn't weigh as much as other traditional blackouts, which means it is less likely to fall off - something common with other blackout blinds of this type. You get four very large velcro strips,although given the size of this sheet, it would perhaps have been better to include more velcro strips. Inside the kit, you also get a free tailor's measuring tape and cheap but functional cutter. It's fully black on the black side, which is more conservative than some of them which come with moon and star designs. As a blackout it most definitely works - even shining my mobile torch function does not show through at all. Currently selling for 25.99

This blackout blind is a perfect way of keeping the nursery dark so the little ones stay asleep longer, and this portable blackout blind can go on holiday with me too, so maybe we might get a well deserved lie in while we’re away.When not in use it’s very easy to store.It comes with a handy measuring tape so you can easily cut the fabric to size, and strong adhesive tapes which hold the blind easily.It’s great for summer not just to keep the light out but also to keep out the heat and the UV.It’s a nice strong fabric that’s simple to clean with a damp cloth.There’s enough here to do the nursery and the motorhome with some left over.I’ll be glad of it in the months ahead when the sun is out early.I would recommend it.It’s very useful and effective, extremely easy to install and take away with you.I hope you find my review helpful.

I've been impressed with this blackout bind which is easy to cut to size and provides a solid blackout effect when used on the windows. It's done an excellent job of keeping the sun out making the room cooler and darker and allowing me to sleep in longer in the mornings. Recommended!

Small size sent product was already cutter in pieces. Worst product. I took the exact size of my window and it is not even half of the size ordered.
