Beware of Weak Base
Bought this to hang some bigger coats since we have to deal with East Coast winters. At first, I thought the construction was fine and putting the stand together was easy enough. However, I soon noticed that because the base of the stand is not very wide, the stand would tip over with maybe 2-3 coats on there. Although this was annoying, I was able to live with it since the stand was not very expensive and you get what you pay for. A couple months later, after holding around 5 coats daily, one of the legs became warped and bent in such a way that the stand could no longer stand on its own. This stand is not very sturdy and will suffer from its weak base. Would recommend looking at other options.

This is the second one of these coat racks I ...
This is the second one of these coat racks I have purchased in the past few months. I use them when I am traveling to hang a magnifying mirror on so that I can see my face clearly to apply my make up. All condos and hotel rooms are different and sometimes its a struggle to see up close. This rack is very light weight, yet the design of the base keeps it very steady, no problem with tipping over. I left one in a vacation house and pack this one to take every where else I travel. I only need a phillips screwdriver to put it together, and dont use all the hooks. Dont need them! It's worth every penny.

So far, so good
The coat rack was easy to assemble. I would estimate it took me about 15 minutes, and I'm not particularly handy. I wish some of the protrusions that are meant to hold coats were a little longer. My lightweight spring jacket is fine, but I'm concerned about how well it will handle bulky winter coats in terms of length of the clip and ability to not topple over from the weight. So far, so good!

DO NOT BUY
Went to put it together and OF COURSE it was missing the correct screws. I guess I should have known given the email I got before even receiving it: (If any problem about the product, for example, missing screws or parts, please don’t hesitate to contact with us through the email address on User Manual, we are always ready to offer a satisfactory solution to resolve the problem.)Very cheap and not worth even messing with! Definite return....

No coat closet? No prob
Not bad to put together, though the smaller hooks in the middle of the tree are a bit of a challenge. One of the tiny brackets through which the screws must pass to affix to the tree 'trunk' had 2 feet missing. A little glue fixed it, but not without coats spilling on the floor.... Good buy for the money. Looks decent in our front hall.

Wilshine Coat Rack
The initial order was missing a crucial part and one 6 mm nut. I sent a complaint to Wilshine and received a new kit. The enclosed instructions did not quite explain this version of the product, but I figured it out quickly. You need a Phillips screw driver and a wrench to properly fasten the base together. Apparently a change was made from a metal upper base to a plastic one. That results in a slightly wobbly upright piece. It would be much steadier with all metal connecting hardware. I am using it for light clothing, so it won't make much difference for me. However, I think that it might fail over time as the metal pieces cut into the plastic with regular use with heavy coats or clothing. It looks nice in my bedroom though.

Nice for the price.
It's very lightweight and wouldn't hold heavy coats but the price was very low so I didn't expect heavy duty. My mom uses it to hold a couple of long robes and light sweaters and it's perfect for that. I got the white one which matches her bedroom furniture. If you want something heavy duty you should expect to pay more.
