Have your rotary tool handy
Unless your single-din radio is undersized, you will need to cut/sand away at the opening to get it to the standard 2" x 7" single din opening, as the opening is close to 1 7/8" x 6 3/4". After spending considerable time with my rotary tool to get the opening to the right size, installation was not as easy as I would have liked, as the supplied screws are not long enough for the brackets and vents, which use the same hole. You will have to re-use the torx screws from the original installation, or buy longer screws.Electrically, everything works after turning the ignition to run and pressing the menu key for 10 seconds to program it.In summary, the Metra faceplate (which is what is included in this kit,) is pretty much the only choice for changing the radio in the 2011 Fiesta. The amount of work required to mount the head unit is more than one would usually expect. That said, it is convenient to have the faceplate, harness, and antenna adapter delivered together and at a lower price than buying them separately.

"Does this work with my non 2011 Fiesta?"
That's what you want to know, right? You want to cheap out and buy this kit instead of the other expensive harnesses you've seen, because those have a ton of extra connections that you know you won't be using with your aftermarket single din head unit, right? You can use this kit, but extra work is required. The reason this kit says it's for 2011 models is probably because the harness included will only produce a 12v ACC/Ignition signal on cars from that year. I would highly suggest finding a pinout for the stereo connector and comparing it to what you see in your car. You may very well find that the ACC wire is not present on the car's harness side. There is no manual available for the harmony audio harness that I could find nor included, but you may find a manual for a very similar looking harness made by the company that produced the dash piece if you search online. The ACC wire should be towards the middle of the harness, not on the sides. See the red wires in the product description. If it is not present on the car's harness, you can still use this kit, but you'll need to tap into the ACC signal from elsewhere in the car. There's a green and purple wire running in the passenger side corner right behind the wheel well you can use, that can be routed up behind the glovebox and into the stereo area. You'll want to pull the glovebox to run the wire. Search the tube site for "2013 Ford Fiesta acc wire", this is what helped me do my install. No, it's not the same green and purple wire as what's already in the stereo harness on the car side. If you have a 2014+ model, doublecheck this info is accurate on your car.The harness part you get with a single blue wire coming out will not be used, that wire doesn't exist on the car's harness side either. You will not retain any steering wheel controls with this, if you want that you should look elsewhere. No idea if sync works, I never touch it. The rest of the buttons work as expected, you can get into the car menu and turn off TCS with them. They're lit amber, a bit off shade from the red on the AC controls but it blends in close enough. Mushy but usable.Be sure to read the manual regarding the panel install. I used the screws from the original dash piece for the holes that hold the din rails and air vents in place, and they stripped out the panel holes very easily. Be very careful putting these screws in, you should use the ones that come with the kit.Hope that helps you if you don't know what you're doing as I did.

The one reason i bought this item doesn't function!
Shipping was fast, fit and finish was decent. The only issue i have with this product is the provisions for changing the vehicle setting do absolutely nothing, the only buttons that actually work are the door locks and hazard lights. That being said, i recommend all to steer clear of this and find a better option.

Works and matches in color
Good product, could have lined up with other factory dash pieces just a little better.
