Bought this item to keep safe another purchase on Amazon of the Canon Powershot A800 digital camera, both items are for use at my place of work and this does the job superbly, it is a clam-shell style opening, it has two small zipper tabs (perfect size in my opinion) and two elasticated bands on the inside to stop the clam shell from fully opening by mistake and the contents falling out.It has a soft fleece type lining which protects my camera on both sides, it has a lanyard that is double stitched on the back and seems to be very sturdy, the case is hard enough to stop any light to medium damage,and it is a snug fit & is ideal for my purposes, great little camera case and well worth the money, please see photos.

Good firm case which fits perfectly around the camera. However, have to ensure the camera is the right way up for the bag to zip shut. Also, would have been nice if there was a pouch in the case to hold the battery.

This case was received within 2 days of ordering. It is a clam type case with two elasticated struts inside, these stop it flying open too much as you undo the zip, which is a nice touch and should help prevent any accidentally falling out of the camera, especially if wearing the case on a belt using the attached belt loop.The case appears to be well made for the price, with double stitching used to attach the belt loop to the case. The Canon SX210 fits in very snugly, with just enough room for the camera with the attached wrist strap, which is exactly what I wanted. The camera should be inserted into the case with the lens towards the top of the case for the best fit. When wearing it on the belt it feels very comfortabe, and the hard case is ideal to protect the camera from occasional knocks when walking about. There is no room for additional batteries, or SD cards, but these are so small that spares can easily be carried in a pocket.The compact size of the case means it is discrete and unobtrusive, this also means that you are more likely to carry the camera with you most of the time, so you should never miss a shooting opportunity if it occurs.

I wish I had bought one that would accomodate a spare battery as well because they run down so quickly.

I found the case ideal for the job of protecting my canon sx220 camera as it says a very snug fit and very well made but there is little room for anything other than the camera and a few memory cards certainly no space for a spare battery but still I am quite happy with it. I would not recommend that you take the waterproof description too seriously probably ok in a rain shower but not to accidentally drop it in water and expect it to protect your camera, unless you remove it from the water very quickly, I found by testing that the water took three minutes to penetrate via the zip.

This case fits my cameras well and protects it better than a soft case. I like to zip it to the middle and leave the camera strap out so its easy to carry. Only down side is no pocket for additional batteries.

I purchased a snugfit camera case for my Powershot camera and got exactly what I expected. Its an entirely satisfactory case, but to advertise it as waterproof is nonsense. I am a sea kayaker and waterproof has a definite meaning to me. The case has a standard plastic zip with two sliders that meet, but don't seal. It is definately not waterproof.I would say its probably splashproof and could resist a downpour, but don't drop it in water. The water will enter at the zip.That said, I'm happy with it and, based on my kayaking experience, I got what I expected for the price.If the marketing people read this - you are misrepresenting the qualities of this item. I suggest you change it to splashproof. Even submersible watches only claim to be waterprotected, not waterproof.

Disappointed case arrived and my camera fits really well. But only 1 of the zips works so you can only open and close the case using 1 zip. I really like this case but I will have to return it. So disappointed
