My Letters and Sounds Phonics Phase Two Practice Pupil Book 1: Reception, Ages 4-5

Excellent education aid, used to give granddaughter a head start in life.

Don't bother with phase 1 of this series. This is really the first book which teaches a child letters and sounds. Each sound/letter has a series of simple activities eg. matching a picture to the letter. There is not much writing so it is easy to use for a child who is reluctant to write. I love these books, particuarly the phases 2, 3 and 4 books. It is just a shame that each sound/letter does not have more practice as it moves qutie quickly.

Good content to educate your young ones and give them an early advantage

I found this book great for supporting my child's learning of phonics in Year R. It covers the beginning of the Letters and Sounds programme that they do. The unique value of this series is the way it helps children to start blending the sounds, to sound out and read words. It also does the reverse process of segmenting for spelling. I bought a couple of different books to support her phonics, but this series is the only one that I am going to continue with. Highly recommended.

This is the exact book taught in primary schools so having one at home is great for kids education, they review and read through at an easier pace.Worth it inmho
