Fouriers CT-FD002 MTB Bike Seat Tube Clamp Chain Guide

Awesome, but not perfect for my application. My bottom bracket is approximately two inches ahead of my seat tube, I have a short chain (for 20" wheels) and a large chain wheel (53T) and 8 speed rear derailleur. The combination leaves me with some drag at extreme chain angles (high and low gears), but I expect to get 18 months service out of it.

I bought this to keep my chain from dropping now that I have converted my MTB from triple front chainrings to just one. The width accomodates the wide range of motion caused by my new 10 speed rear cluster, and fitting it was really easy thanks to all the adjustability.Overall this is a well made, and high quality chain guide worth buying.

Works great, until what many others have stated on here happens. It shakes itself apart after a few descents, and tightening it wont help (I stripped a bolt or two trying). Would be a good design if it didnt have so many moving parts. To fix this, I aligned everything on my bike, then used construction adhesive to permanently seize the screws that would loosen themselves. Be careful to leave enough un-glued so that you can take off the guard later. Overall, a good option for those of us without iscg-5 mounts.

Does not fit my bike, but that doesn't mean its a bad product, just not fit for my 7 speed. The rod that holds the guide to the collar is too short by .350. I think it would work for a fixed single speed bike.

I did not think that it could for the price. I put it on my e-cargo bike after I installed a 53T front chain-ring. No for dropped chains!

Easy to install. Completely stopped dropped chain problems on an eBike that was converted to a single chain ring.
