My son is on the spectrum and has a hard time wearing any shoes other than those slip-on rubbery shoes (begins with a C). I couldn't justify buying another faux-fur lined pair this year, so was trying to find a comfy, cute, and durable tennis shoe for him. He's normally in a big kid size 1, but I decided to half size up. I'm glad that I did, because they are super comfy to him! He actually doesn't want to wear his C-shoes today, but rather these new tennis shoes! He said he can actually wiggle his toes in these, and he loves them. They feel and look like they're decent quality as well.

These are nice pair of activity tennis. They are soft lightweight. My toddler loves them.

Awesome

Son loved the blue color, the cushy sole, and the look. However, the Velcro straps are skimpy in length. My son has to cinch it tight over his foot just to get the Velcro to cross over his foot, and it still is a good inch away from the end. Super disappointing. It’s always a shame when the Velcro strap gives out before the rest of the shoe wears out. I don’t expect these straps to last long since they are straining just to cross over the foot. My son normally wears a 3.5, so I bought him a 4 in this shoe, and he had plenty of toe space at the end to grow. He wears a normal thin white sock. Not what I expected for a $34 shoe. I specifically bought in the “above-$30-range” in hopes of a secure Velcro closure. Crazy. Photo shows the furthest the Velcro reaches when son pulls the straps as far as he can when wearing them.
