Battle of the Bulge 1944-45

Detailed review of the Battle of the Bulge. Well worth a read. The whole series is well written and pure presented

I'm currently reading this book to my father, who was there as part of the British contingent. He is fascinated by some of the background politics - you don't get to hear (or care much) about this stuff when you are freezing cold and under fire. It's also a great reminder of (good and bad) events and individuals that were so important to him as a young man. We are both really enjoying the journey.

This is about the best straightforward coverage of the total battle. Most enjoyable was to read the individual courage of troops who showed outstanding individual bravery.
