The media could not be loaded.  Good and bright, i have it on a 4ft tropical and its perfect, as good as the units that are 3 times the price!THe only minor irritation is the timer, its a built in timer that you cant change, you cant use an external timer as it switches off on its own control unit when powered down, so it wont come on again.Not the end of the world, means you need to interact with it more and remember to switch it over at night!It has 3 modes, 2 normal light modes and 1 blue light only mode for night time, you can switch between them easily, and this function is why you cant use an external timer.After 4 months of daily use the light is now failing, it's nowhere near it's original brightness and is flickering constantly!No way to contact the seller apparently!Last 2 pictures are of the light on and off, hardly any difference now!Seller has been in touch, really helpful and agreed to replace the light, sent replacement that arrived in a day or so, really quickly resolved.The light is back to being great again, turns out it was a power supply failure, not the light unit. These things happen, it's how it's dealt with that matters the most!

Bought this to replace a Nicrew tube style bulb, which was in it's way out. They are a white daytime light and a blue nighttime light. They are very strong and my plants are definitely growing as a result. They are relatively low in the red spectrum, so don't turn your orange fish feed as my previous light did. I have mine on a corner tank and it simply sits on top. My only one concern is they are water resistant, but not water proof, so have to be incredibly careful not to knock into the water!

Although wasn’t packaged the best, so far it’s working.After my disappointment with the equivalent Nicrew light (mine and a friends stopped working after a year) thought I’d give this ago. Similar light, but personally prefer the adaptability of Nicrews controls.I have purchased a 3 year warranty with it just incase it blows after a year.Soon find out, I’ll update if anything happened.

Easy to assemble with good brightness for growing plants and never had any problems with these lights good value for the money

The media could not be loaded.  Looked great for a fews weeks all worked fine, but now as can be seen in the video and photos the leds are starting to fail. Dont buy!

Got it after my light pop, which was part of the lid. That went in the bin. This just sits on the tank, thanks to the legs. I have a sheet of twinwall plastic sheet coming, which will become the new lid. The timer was an unexpected bonus. I have the light fitting on/off on the 12hr setting. Now never forget to turn off the light at night!
