GUESSING
Bought for my granddaughter, age 9. She didn't like the way the knee pads felt. Was going to return, but they never got them back to me in a timely manner. They look nice. Maybe when she next needs knee pads they will feel different.

Decent kids' pad set
Another teacher and I hosted a mini skating camp for some of our younger students to learn skating safety and how to fall. One of my students wasn't able to get pads so I picked up this set for her.The set is fine for kids - they don't seem as sturdy as my adult pads but since kids will grow out of them before they take too many falls (hopefully), they should last. Everything fit correctly and it was fairly easy to get the whole kit on, with a little adult help. My student said everything was comfortable, and when we were practicing how to fall, she said it didn't hurt at all. Overall, decent set for kids!

Great Gear for Skating!
I really liked this gear, it worked really well for me. I do admit, I used the wrist guards way more than anything else, since they never felt uncomfortable or tight. The elbow pads on the other hand were pretty tight and I disliked wearing them. The knee pads are an in between, I’d wear them on and off depending on what I was doing. They were fairly easy to take off and put on. Also, I’ve used them in the hot sun a few times, and haven’t noticed any odor, which is a plus. They do really well for protection, I’ve fallen with my wrist guards on and haven’t scratched anything. I’d highly recommend the knee pads and wrist guards, a little less on the elbow pads.

Decent set
This is pretty typical safety gear for skating/scootering. Works well for beginners and those planning on riding for fun. I do not know if I would suggest these for skate park use in the bowls or on big drop ins. The plastic is nowhere near as sturdy as pricier gear in my collection, and I worry it will give out on a tough fall leading to an injury. Makes a great throwaway pair for growing kids. We will see how it holds up this summer.

Great protective gear
My daughters have had many different types of knee pads. These are great because it covers a large area and the straps can be adjusted so it’s not cutting off their circulation. However, I don’t know if it’s because it’s new, but she’s complaining that material is very itchy and she doesn’t want to wear them for long.

Not great, not terrible
These are not bad for the price, but nothing great either. More expensive sets will be better made with longer service life. Still, for the price and the fact the wearer will out grow them, they are not bad at all.

Great set of protective gear for kids
My 6yo daughter had a one-month roller skating unit in gym class, and since this was a completely new activity for her, she wanted to wear all the gear to be extra safe! She doesn't need them for any hard-core protection, but she feels so much more comfortable wearing them. She's fallen a bunch, and is always proud to tell me that she didn't get hurt at all :)Everything seems to fit her well and as expected, and I like the black camo so her younger brother can use them when he's bigger. I labeled each pad (knee, wrist, elbow) with different colored tape so she could quickly identify which is which, and after just one gym class she could put them on by herself.I like that there's the option to either just slide them on through the black fabric sleeve, or use the velcro. We find going through the sleeve to be far less itchy and quicker to slide on. This is only for the elbow & knee pads, the wrist guards you'll need to use the velcro.

Easy to use safety gear
The fact that my elementary aged kids could get this on without too much effort makes me happy because they'll actually use it. Elbow and wrist pads especially come in handy to turn scrapes and sprains into laughter and continued play. I feel much better watching them learn tricks and take their bikes off of sweet jumps when they have the right gear on. This set is crafted well and looks good enough that the kids don't complain and want to take it off. Great investment for safety and peace of mind.
