Review for this toy roughly 1 week in with everyday use:Overall, this is an easy to use and fun toy for the cats. We have two kitties. One of them enjoys chasing it around while the other enjoys observing it with occasional chasing. They aren’t crazy about it all the time, but that’s how kittens are with a new toy (especially since they have so many).It does stick a lot of hair or fur on the outside because of the silicon-coated material on the ball but is easy to remove by giving a hard pull to detach the accessory to clean out any hair and wiping it down. I do wish the ball moved faster on the fastest mode (blue) but given how the rope rotates, it’s probably a design constraint. We have another interactive ball toy which functions similar except ZOOMS (no rope, just a ball that rolls around with a bunny costume) so having both of these toys should give our kitties much enjoyment and variety. The battery life is excellent—we charge overnight once the kitties are sleeping and it lasts all day (at least 8+ hours) on any of the modes.It’ll be cool if they come up with more varying attachments aside from the rope! Sometimes the rope is a bit rigid when it spins so some other accessory attachments would be a fun feature. We have doors with slight gaps above the floor, so the rope hitting the door, spinning a bit, before freeing itself can be a bit silly.

My cat watched it but even in slow speed did not engage. She’s 13 so it may work better in younger animal. Easy to charge. Works as stated. K

I love that it is rechargeable. It definitely keeps the cats interested and on their toes. The multiple settings make it so that I can set one to fast play and one to slow so that everyone can join in. Yes I had to buy another as there were too many cats going for 1 toy. They really went berserker after I tied a feather teaser on to the original one once the strings became frayed.Experienced an issue with the 2nd one purchased. My shy kitty dragged it to me when it stopped moving.. she was so sad 😥 but after contacting the seller the jumped into action to make it right! If I could I would give a couple extra stars just for how promptly they resolved my concern.Do not hesitate just order it. It moves so fast across all surfaces whereas I bought a similar one at same time and it will only move on a hard floor. Yrt this one handles carpet, rugs, hard floor and even managed to find a cold air return that gave access to the basement, It traveled in the vent and the cats already knew where it would drop out.

I've gotten my cats a few of these rechargeable toys and they like them surprisingly well. This toy itself, holds and runs on a single charge for quite some time. This is with my three cats getting interested in playing with it a couple of times a day. That being said, they will only play with it on the slow setting. Anything faster, and my cats just stare at it. The string does start fraying a bit, but keep it on the lower setting and that will help it last even longer. The toy comes with a couple of replacements, and my original string hasn't frayed more than a 1/4" in a few weeks of play.

My cat loves this toy, and I was so grateful to get it at a better price from this seller. He plays with it for hours. He is a teenage cat, and his prey instinct has him carry it around and drop it in the water bowl! Then he is upset when he pulls it out and it won't move again. So, if you might want to pick the water bowl up for a while if you have a cat with high prey instincts. That is why I was so happy at the lower price. I noticed the carrot one from this seller was also at a great price, so I bought a few. My cat has other interactive toys I have bought him, but this one is definitely his favorite and what he goes to first.

I wanted to love this because it's rechargeable, and has 2 settings. It makes bird noises and moves around and spins so much, but my long hair cat was playing with it and I look down and the strings on the end of the toy have twisted into his fur and it was stuck pulling on his fur and he was freaking out! It hurt my sweet baby!! It was all twisted in his fur and was not very easy to get out. This toy may be meant for short hair cats or you need to watch it the entire time they play with it.

We have thick pile carpets throughout our apartment, and many interactive toys have been a disappointment but this one is great on carpet! It is lively - we set it on the lower setting for our cat. At first he just watched it, but eventually started chasing and wrestling it. It is his absolute favorite toy and he is so sad when I have to put it on the charger and so happy when it comes off. It last more than 12 hours, and I like the feature where it activates itself just a little every so often - it can catch our cat's attention if he's bored. It is a big hit and I am so happy I purchased it!

It may just be our house cat, but she didn't seem to play with it much after first encounter. I did increase the rating, as the company was very quick to reach out to me and ask if they could remedy the situation. I think that it is a solid product. But, some cats are just finicky, like our house cat.
