Nice absorbency. Easy to sweep up. Kinda dusty compared to oil dry (kitty litter).

I had some of this stuff in my garage for over a year before needing it. I was changing the oil in my garden tractor and the oil drain was behind some hardware of the mower bits. I had the entire contents drained in the oil pan when... Sploosh! It slipped and 100% of the oil went on my cement patio. I cleaned up as much as I could by a dust pan and paper towels but it was a filthy black pool still. Disgusted, I grabbed this stuff and dumped half the bag over it and spread it out somewhat and walk off. Three days later, (I didn't have the nerve to check it before that), I decided to sweep it up so the powder would stop getting tracked. Low and behold! Only slightly darker looking cement was under the ZEP spill powder. No black or oily residue visible. I am sold on this stuff now.

Had oil spots/drips on garage floor. I have used several different products on Amazon, but this was by far the best. A little goes a long way and drinks up oil just fine.

For a half quart of oil I had to use about a quarter of a bag but it worked fine. I still had to move my car away and thoroughly sweep the floor but at the end I could not even see the spot where the spill occurred.

This is a replacement for a package I had, and man am I glad I had it, as I forgot to put the plug back in and when I noticed I had an oil river moving down the driveway, and this made all the difference in picking it up and containing it.

Best to buy regular granules Does the job but goes VERY quickly, like one oil spill. Would not recommend.

I had a nasty oil spill in my clean out from a prior commercial tenant. This product worked really well in absorbing the oily residue and did a wonderful job. I would definitely use it again if I come across such a oily situation.

Great floor dry, absorbs everything I have used it on, from gear lube to antifreeze. Not abrasive, so it won't peel your cement coating.

My garage floor had some engine oil patch, about 3 ft by 3 ft, from a leaking car. It was at least 3 years old. I spread the powder (or small lumps) of the product on the oil patch, left it for a couple of hours and then rubbed it on the garage floor with a hard brush. I threw the used product in garbage. Repeated the process once more with fresh powder and all the oil patch was gone. I have to wash it with water once this winter is over.
