Lovely stuff. Perfect for dashi Beautiful flavour. Miso soup addict Who would spend this amount of money on cat food? I give my 2 moggys tinned tuna on top of their dry food and they go mad for it. Neither has commented that the fish could do with a bit of a smokey flavour and dried out more.

I first had Bonito flakes in Japan last year and really liked their flavour - good to use with omelette dishes (Okonomiyaki-style). Prompt seller service.

Tasteless
I am not impressed with Bonito flakes at all. I found them to be tasteless. They make virtually no difference as an additive to the soup, and are a lot f bother for virtually nothing.
