Super bright, not too heavy and waterproof... But DIED in less than a year!
Super bright, not too heavy and waterproof. The best all-round, torch and cycle light I've seen. The USB charging with a micro-USB connector (cable supplied) is very useful as I can recharge it from almost anywhere including any USB battery pack. The light itself is very bright and has three levels. Hold down the button to get to a dazzling fast/slow strobe mode for attracting attention et.c. The lithium-polymer cell lasts for around 2h on full power and takes around 4h to charge. For carrying, there is a fiddly to fit lanyard and a handy neoprene bag.The guy with the slow flashing power button issue has put the cell in the wrong way around. The cell is supplied charged to around 50% so you will be able to test the functionality of the light as soon as the cell is installed. The smaller of the metal plates on the cell is the positive terminal and that goes into the barrel. The larger metal plate that makes up the can of the cell is the negative terminal.Would it have been such a hassle to print some "+" symbols at the top?EDIT: after almost a year of use, one of the lights that I bought will come on randomly, get insanely hot and not respond to the button, or just randomly flash, pulse, off and on - hilarious when your partner has it on their bike...

Stopped working after two months
This worked OK for a couple of months and then became intermittent and finally stopped working. I assumed it was the battery so this winter I bought a new battery, but it didn't work either. Tried the battery in another light and it did. On that basis I'd say this light developed a fault. The light still goes on when on usb power so bulb is OK. One reviewer says he fixed this with foil in the screw cap. I tried foil in all different ways but with no luck. Well done to that reviewer for having a bodge though. A year on from buying this, cheaper and better lights are available including a focus so one doesn't blind people (invaluable) - as this on inevitably did. This was a waste of money for me I'm afraid. Bright whilst it lasted though.

The torch looked good value for money
The torch looked good value for money, and worked well for a few months but either the torch is faulty or the Samsung rechargeable battery is faulty because when I tried to use it recently it only works when plugged into the charger. Not fit for purpose.I bought a new Samsung rechargeable battery today and it still doesn't work without being plugged in to the mains. Waste of money

easy, effective solution to light not working!
There have been some polarised views on here about this product, that revolve around whether it will turn on and if it will charge. I have the answer - after having sent back one unit that didn't work (and having been to a shop to get a new battery, although I did not buy it). I returned it, bought another one, and, out the box, that one did not work either! Displayed the same symptoms.... hmm! Here is the problem (and I think it probably covers all the negative reviews):1. The battery should be put in POSITIVE terminal first2. The electrical contact between the screw cap (for battery insertion) and the casing, necessary for the unit to (a) charge and (b) function, is dicey (at best). If you really want to know why, I believe it is because the gasket that seals the cap and makes it watertight is just a bit too thick, but that is another story. Anyway, simple, easy, effective solution - and one that will stop the "intermittent contact" problem while riding - is to fashion a small ring of foil (or other conducting material), put it inside the screw cap before you screw it on, and then - hey presto, it works!!!!If this seems opaque now, it will be obvious once you have the product. Otherwise, it seems really great. And I have posted, in a reply below, instructions to the identical Magnus Innovations Vision II, which are much more comprehensible!

Good but stopped working properly after a couple of months.
I thought this was a great product, brilliantly bright lamp for my bike. But after only a couple of months it started to dim and then to regularly cut out completely - which is pretty dangerous when cycling on dark country roads as I do. This is not due to charging up the battery as do that regularly and I can switch it back on again while riding.

Ok
Great product super bright too. The battery life is long . The only niggle is how securely it fastens to the handlebars. Mine shook loose after the first time and I had to retighten it and I was fearful of stripping the thread

Disappointing. It was a bright light - seemingly well made one day when trying to charge it, it just started flashing and I couldn't stop it. that was it. I had to throw it away.

Dont buy
Great light but as some said, short life, 2 months, I dont know if it is the battery or the charge method, powerfull within first months. Now the charge does not hold, dim light, friends asking if it is the same light. Expensive, not worth the money, except you want a short term light, charges about five minutes and then stops charging. I dont know if I'll buy another battery or put the light in the trash.Dont recomend it.
