Excellent for Keeping Granite Worktops Perfect
We had our kitchen with granite work surfaces installed in June 2010, and a kit containing this product and Lithofin Easy Clean came with the installation to maintain the granite. You do not use a whole lot of the product - we were supplied with 250ml of Stain Stop and 500ml of Easy Clean and I have just had to reorder. However, it is fair to say that we have not used it as much as we should have so I have gone for 1 litre packs of each this time round as we plan to use it more.To cut to the chase, it does maintain the granite in perfect condition. The Easy Clean cuts through grease and any other accumulated muck to really clean up the granite and the stain stop makes it resistant to oil, grease and water by preventing penetration. It should be noted that Lithofin recommend this product for kitchens and bathrooms rather than the external use the other reviewer put it to. Once cleaned and protected the work tops really do look as good as new. Excellent product!

Does what it says on the tin.
Sealed our new rough sandstone fire surround perfectly. Easy to apply (used brush) and quick to dry. Seems to have worked very well without altering the colour/appearance of the stone at all. Highly recommended.

Very good product.
Easy to apply, just wipe onto clean dry surface, wait 10 minutes then buff off residue. A little seems to go quite a long way. It does have a strongish solvent smell during application, so good ventilation is recommended. I've used it on granite kitchen tops, matt wall tiles and porcelain floor tiles. The result is no change to the colour of tiles or grout and no change to matt or gloss. You can tell it works though because spills and splashes don't soak in to porous surfaces such as grout. they just form beads that can easily be wiped away.

Does what it says on the tin.. It was recommended by a stonemasons where i purchased a 50mm thick sandstone hearth. I used quite a bit more than required as it goes quite far when applied with a sponge most important its virtually invisible when dry, no difference in the stone finish when dry as we wanted the natural look. It also repels liquids excellent, i spilt white emulsion on by accident and the paint remained on the surface like rain drops on a waxed car windscreen... Definitely recommend

Great product
This was for a bathstone (limestone) fireplace. I found pouring this into a metal bowl and applying with a masonry brush was the most effective way of getting it on. I used masking tape and some care to protect the wood floor, wall etc. It took almost the entire 1L to seal my 150 cm x 130 cm fireplace (new stone, so very porous), including inside the chamber and a large hearth. It was quite strong smelling, but in a nice way(!), and once dry there was no smell at all. It has repelled soot dust and other spillages, so I am very impressed with the performance of this and I will use it again in a year or two to maintain a sealed surface on my fireplace.

Easy application.
Easy to apply and is doing the job so far, although it is a pricey item, but then you only get what you pay for.

Product good and use on a regular basis.
Bought to use in kitchen granite worktops, like to clean and seal cleaner n a regular basis. Strong chemical smell for a few hours so recommend using with doors and windows open.

Seems to be doing the job
Well, I'm giving it an extreme test - a sandstone fountain in part sun. This thing algaed up in days when I first put it in - I didn't realise how much sun the area gets. However, I applied a couple of coats and now it's still perfectly clean weeks later. The only problems are that I would actually have preferred a wet look in this case and I will probably have to reapply it every six months as the constant water will eventually wash it away.
