Don't write many reviews but this product deserves a great write up? Bought a 2007 Honda vtx at a dealer. Got a terrific price but when I inquired about adding a sissy bar and luggage rack the cost was $600. So I ordered this and must say very high quality, sturdy, and the finish is excellent. Highly recommend!!

Passenger comfort and safety
My passenger says he feels much more secure with this backrest. (We also bought passenger hand grips.) Now, I don't have the passenger's helmet occasionally bonking mine, because he can sit further back. The luggage rack is small but sturdy. We use bungee cords to hold a backpack on it, and off we go!Installation was fairly easy. A helper to hold the backrest/luggage rack steady while installing it on the motorcycle can prevent the assembly from dropping onto the fender and scratching the paint (it's heavier than you'd expect, but that's good, for passenger safety).

Sturdy, good looking
Want a strong, good looking, well fitted sissy bar? These are perfect for the price. And I have a harley king tour pack mounted to thus with little modifications. Speakers, amps, lights, arm rests. Nice and secure

DOES NOT FIT!!
I have a 2006 vtx1300s. Bolt holes are 7” O.C. on the motorcycle and the ones in this product are approx 4 3/4” apart O.C. Only have two stars because it is made pretty well, but very disappointing when you have people comment with 5 stars saying exact fit with no modification and it DOESN’T FIT.

Missing parts...
Really displeased. Had a short window of time before a trip to get a sissy bar for my passenger. Ordered this and it showed up missing half the parts needed... thanks to the terrible QA from this manufacturer it ruined weekend trip and now I need to deal with returning.
