Hello, The white sparkle paint has a small amount of fine "glitter" in the paint, which makes the appearance of the paint similar to that of the paint on a car. Regular white paint would not contain the "glitter". Thank you.

My lid has been cracked for approximately a year. I have also searched for a replacement with no luck. I have decided to purchase another cup & just alternate the lid because I love my cup. Good luck.
