There are so many laughs to be had. I need to go back and read the Unhoneymooners because comedy gold.

In this follow up to the Unhoneymooners, we're back on Maui, this time for Olive and Ethan's wedding. Maid of Honor Amy and best man Brody are teaming up to pull it off in 8 days. After the disaster that was Amy's wedding in the first book, this one's gotta be perfect and type-A Amy knows she can get it done for her sister.It's a fun, fluffy summer read with plenty of laugh of loud moments as these two go through arranging all the details for the wedding. And it's about the usual steam level for CLo books nowadays.I absolutely loved that this audio original went above and beyond standard audiobook narration with sound design and a full ensemble cast led by Jessica Marie Garcia and Harry Shum, Jr. JMG's got a great voice/style for contemporary rom, so I hope we'll be hearing more from her in the future!

THE HONEYMOON CRASHERS by Christina Lauren is a delightful, fast-paced audiobook followup to The Unhoneymooners that combines great characters, witty banter, and laugh-out-loud moments. The love story unfolds beautifully, capturing the perfect evolution of the main characters’ relationship. If you’re searching for an ideal beach read, look no further—this book is it!

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren is one of my favorite books, I love how funny it is and I was so excited when I found out there was a mini-sequel called the Honeymoon Crashers. I think it was unfortunate that I listened to the book though because one of the voices drove me nuts to listen to. The story was cute, but not even close to being as funny or engaging as The Unhoneymooners. I think I may give this another try in book form to see if it hits better.

I’ve never met a Christina Lauren book I didn’t love, and this was no exception. Full cast audios can sometimes be too much, but it was perfect for this story. I had so much fun listening to this story. If you’re a CLo fan, definitely don’t sleep on this audio!

Olive and Ethan from The Unhoneymooners are now engaged. To break the Torres wedding curse, they announce they are eloping to Maui. Ami is extremely upset and plans to sneak to Maui with her family and plan and attend the couple’s wedding. Olive and Ethan find out and aren’t upset, but ask Ami to involve Ethan’s friend Brody in the preparations.Check list Ami is NOT happy about working with slacker surf bro Brody, but slowly she accepts his help and (of course) the two start falling for each other.If you loved the first book or are just looking for a good romance audiobook to try, check out the Honeymoon Crashers!

So well written and audiobook produced 🙌🏽 I LOL 😝 Definitely recommend for an escape read!

[edit]Somehow I missed this when it first came out last year, but I’m so glad I learned about it! This is the sequel to Christina Lauren’s amazing The Unhoneymooners (which I highly recommend if you haven’t read it yet). The Honeymooners Crashers is an audio-only novella that is about 5 hours long. There is a full cast of characters, which makes it feel more like a movie than a book.We met Ami in The Unhoneymooners when the food at her wedding gave (almost) all of her guests food poisoning so her sister and the best man went on the honeymoon instead. Ami is now divorced from that husband and this is her love story. It was laugh-out-loud funny and the love story was adorable. I adored Brody as the MMC and the relationship between the two of them. It was such an enjoyable listen, pure fun!
