Bad: The surround system that gets enabled with a button doesn't seem to work. I didn't feel any difference other than adding some echo effect. I tested it with different youtube videos and didn't see a difference in "surrond" or not, just that echo/small empty room effect. The bad thing is that every time you connect it the headphones start with the surround sound enabled so you have to press it and hear "Surround sound off". Not a big deal.The other bad thing is that when using the 3.5mm jack aux cable the volume doesn't go as high, I had to have it at 100% volume all the time, when in usb-c I have it at 15% regularly. Also, the ENC noise cancelling with the 3.5 mm jack isn't as good. But again, I was planning to use it with usb-c so it didn't affect me.Good: The reason why I bought this is because my previous pair of Eksa AirJoy started to break, the usb-c connector was falling apart after 2 years of consistent home office work, but the headphones were great, I loved the mic noise isolation, and I wanted them again. The AirJoy weren't available anymore, so I had to choose something similar. The StarEngine Pro are the only over-ear, usb-c with ENC noise cancelling that I found.The noise cancelling is great, it blocks all the noises like TV, kids running around and yelling, land mowing, vacuum, etc. I also bought a Razor Kraken V4 X and the mic was far to StarEngine Pro, so I returned the Kraken because a lot of noise was coming to the mic. With StarEngine Pro my voice sounds very clear and doesn't sound robotic at all as other headphones and microphones do.Good: build quality, they are a bit heavy and sturdy. My ears fit inside the earmuffs completely and don't feel squeezed. Also, the foams are comfortable and soft.Definitely 5 stars, it has everything I need. Recommend 100%, I hope they don't get discontinued in the future.

These have a nice sound, are comfortable to wear, but the mike is in the way. I have yet to find a spot for mike where it does just seem to get in the way. For me the mike is just too close. I have to put a big curve in it to get it out of my vision and jawline. It has to do with the fact that it is plugged in and not rotatable like my last set. The sound is worth the hassle though. Very clean sound.

The mic audio is crisp, and clear. The ai noise gate is also very impressive. The surround sound does make the audio echo, but I'm not sure if that is normal or not. I usually just use them with surround sound off, and I turn on the windows surround sound for headphones. They are very comfortable, and easy to use. The overall quality, and performance is outstanding, and I would buy them again.

The surround sound only works when plugged into a USB type-c on the console you can use your PS5 Xbox. On Nintendo switch You have to use the USB type-c on the bottom of the console in handheld mode you can also use the headphone jack. you have to use the headphone jack on the controller for PlayStation and Xbox it doesn't work with the USB type c on the controller. it works best with the phone USB type-c you can also use the headphone jack if your phone has one. I don't know about the PC because I don't have one that works right now.

I purchased the EKSA star engine pro USB gaming headset 7.1 for my daughter’s PS five.We were going through headsets as if they were meant to be used once and thrown away, which in return cost a lot of money because the cheaper headsets didn’t last very long after purchasing it purchasing. This headset has lasted. Long surroundsound is excellent. She has no complaints. It definitely fulfills all her gaming needs, and I have to tell you that my daughter is a hard-core gamer. These headsets are stuck to her like glue. We definitely cannot travel without them. She will flip out that’s how much she uses them nonstop. I would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Comfortable to wear but very quiet and hard to hear!

This product has good, borderline amazing audio for music. But for gaming and to use it's "Surround sound" You have to sacrifice audio quality and accept that it's going to sound like you are inside of a stone echo chamber. It will not sound good and the surround capabilities are functional but sub-par at best. Microphone is alright on PC but I have no console to test it on.
