AVF Steel Flat to Wall Low Profile TV Wall Mount for Most 25" to 55" in Black

Only have had this mount for a couple of weeks but I must say so far I am very happy with this tv wall mount.I have an older proscan 32inch lcd tv that has a very large bezzle and large speaker section on the bottom of the screen,but with the double articulating arms it can almost turn 90 degrees left and right.I'd say about 86 degrees in each direction and it also tilts a good bit up and down.As most people know older lcd's are heavy and with the larger than normal speaker section this tv is about 33 lbs,but the mount handles it easily and smoothly after a couple of adjustments.It feels very secure with the stud mount, I was lucky I had a stud where i needed it. I was not enamered with the supplied directions,but i looked them up on line and that helped some.I'm not a very good handy man but once i understood the whole out look of how it would come together it was fairly easy.It was so easy I thought I must have done some thing wrong.I have an odd sized Vesa mount 200x400 but it turned out that size was one in the plans that was easyist to put together.Don't be alarmed if you have alot of harware left over this package has alot of adapters to fit larger screens and I did'nt need them for mine. Looking around at different mounts I was amazed at the price range from site to site. For this product AVF EL404B-A Multi Position Dual Arm TV Mount for 25-Inch to 40-Inch Screens (Black) ,Amazon had the best price and delivery was quick and the product was in great condition. This was super easy to put together and install on the wall. Total time from start to finish under 30 minutes. Yes the instructions only have pictures but they are easy to understand. Be advised you will have more parts that you need so just pay attention.We were looking for a basic wall unit to hang our TV. I saw this one and took the chance. Boy was I RIGHT in purchasing this. I will state I put it together by myself I am a woman and was 8.5 months pregnant when we got it. (just saying since others feel the need to say they are men women etc) ANYWAY it went together super easy and fast probably only took 15 minutes then my husband attached the bracket on the wall and we put the TV up.Make sure to properly level the mounting bracket. And once the TV is on tighten or loosen the nuts on the back like the directions say. It is perfectly level for us, and moves easy but is secure.Heavy duty construction as well. Some parts are plastic but that does not hurt the product. We put up a 40" 40x200 VESA Flatscreen. Great price for a great product. I would buy again.

We purchased new 32" TVs for our kids and wanted to mount them on the wall. We had a hard time finding full motion mounts that would work with the TVs that we bought as they were 400x200 VESA. We originally bought 2 mounts from a local store that said they were upgraded to work with our measurements and we were disappointed to find out they didn't fit. Realizing that we weren't gonna find anything locally, my husband and I started looking online and we ended up here. I was hesitant to purchase these mounts because of our previous experience but went ahead with them anyways because of the awesome price. So glad we did cause they worked out extremely well! My husband has never mounted a TV before and had no problems mounting 2 of them with these mounts. They ended up straight, seem very sturdy and they move all over just like a full motion mount is supposed to. We put them by a corner which works great because with the long arm they can be against the wall or tilted in the corner. I am so happy we got these mounts because not only did we get exactly what we were looking for but they saved us a bunch of money too!

Well, I gotta admit, I was quite surprised when I got this mount and it was in a box the size of a loaf of bread! Some interesting (yet functional) engineering went into this one. The mount consists of a horizontal base plate, two 'wing' vertical plates, and a couple adapter plates for various configurations of VESA spacing.First of all, I got this to mount a 42" Haier brand LCD TV that fit within weight and VESA mount specs, but was fully aware that it may not work. The box however, to my surprise, had a sticker over the original "25-40 inch" label that now said "25-42 inch", so I had that going for me. Upon going through the instructions (no words, all pictures) and thinking I'd need to use the adapter plates to connect to the max size TV, turns out I was just fine using the main vertical plates by themselves on the VESA sizing of 400 x 200 on the TV. That simplified things.Second thing I found out, is with the mount on a wall, you are at the mercy of the studs with this unit. There is no leeway on the mount itself as it's attached by two screws to the wall in the center of the horizontal base plate at the top and bottom. I was hoping it would be able to shift to the left or right some, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Especially for a larger TV like this 42", where the mount goes, so does the TV (At least on a framed drywall wall. On Concrete, it appears the base plate connects by the 4 corners pretty much where ever you choose.)once you attach the wings to the TV, and the base plate is on the wall, the TV can then 'hook' onto the base plate hanging the top wing plate hooks first, then the bottom hooks pop into place. From there you can adjust the tilt with (4) 10mm nuts behind the TV. There's a little room to work behind the TV, too. Because of the tilt mechanism, the TV (when vertically plumb) sits about 2 3/4" from the wall.Overall, simple installation, great price, and solid design. Took less than an hour from the time I took the TV out of the box to the time the TV was on the wall working. (Haven't finished the in-wall wiring, etc, but it's hung and working!) Still would have preferred to not be held to centering the TV on a pre-existing stud, but for the price ($15 when I ordered it) you can't go wrong!
