pretty stable
For more stability you want to fill it with sand, but it takes A LOT to fill it with sand if that's what you do. Filling it with air isn't the best but the fastest. Overall it is a great purchase, I got it for my 7 year old son & he always uses it & so does my 11 year old daughter. We do have to fill the top with more air every week.

Leaks Air
I bought this for my daughter and she had only used it maybe 20 times since we bought it three months ago. I have used it a handful of times as well. I was really hoping this would have worked for us. I have blown it up three times in the last 24 hours only to come back to it deflated an hour later. I guess I’ll be buying a real punching back now. Sure wish I could get my money back.
