Flissy Cake Decorating Sugarcraft Modelling Tool Kit 8 Pieces

This item should contain 8 specified cake decorating tools.Upon placing my first order I received 7 of the 8 specified tools and the missing 'serrated tool' had been replaced with a duplicated 'Ball tool'. The Amazon packaging was undamaged, but the blister pack the tools were packaged in had been opened. I returned the whole thing for a refund and ordered it again.The second time I received 7 of the 8 specified tools, the 'bone tool' was missing, so I only received 7 out of the 8 tools. The Amazon packaging was undamaged, but the blister pack the tools were packaged in had been opened (same as previously).Sending the order back the first time was hassle enough as I had to take it to the post office to get proof of postage, so I was unwilling to go through this process again and buy a 3rd set which I am not confident would be a complete set. So I now have to make a separate purchase of the missing tool at additional cost.

These were cheap moulded items and since they are intended to sculpt and mould thin icing the lines in the plastic moulding it means this drags and leaves lines in the icing so out of the 7 items 4 were totally unusable and 3 per partly useable. plus the white heads detach from the yellow plastic handle making them feel sloppy and flimsy.

I'm new to sugarcraft and wanted a beginner set of modelling tools without spending too much. Having read previous reviews I wasn't expecting too much quality-wise but I have to say I'm really impressed with the tools - clean, well-finished and they worked! Due to arthritis in my hands I can be a little heavy-handed sometimes but all the tools remain intact and my flowers look lovely. My order was processed very promptly and I'm very happy with my purchase.

A great set of tools for cake decorating whether you are a serious decorator or just playing at it. The back of the box also said what each tool was for and because of the way the plastic was attached to the card I can take the tools out and put them back in for easy storing. I haven't used them all yet but have had great fun marketing lots of fondant creations with their help. A good price too, I saw this same pack for sale in a local cake shop for almost £24!

I bought this set to help with cake decorating - especially for making flowers using sugar paste. I reckoned it was cheaper than buying pieces individually. Although it's fine, the ball did break off one of the tools quite quickly. I have exactly the same looking tool from another company that is sturdier and feels more resilient - but of course that cost a lot more. Nevertheless I'm happy with the purchase, given the overall price.

This is exactly what I needed at a very fair price would definitely use this company again - puzzled as to why I have to use an exact amount of words - What more do I need to say but extremely satisfied - would I recommend the product - yes but I bought it for a totally different reason than cake decorating - can't think of anyone in my circle of friends who would want something like this either for cooking or hobbies and crafts....

I'm new to cake decorating (new hobby), and this set meets the needs I have. I've never had a set of cake decorating tool kits before, so I can not compare. But I've had a few of the top part of the tools fall off the yellow bits - easily rectified by pushing them back onto the yellow part. But for the price it seems good.

My granddaughter used this and loved it

These look very interesting and came at a reasonable price, the only down side was that they came with no instructions. So for somebody like myself, who is a complete novice, has no idea how to use these tools effectively and correctly there fore cannot give a review as I don't know what to do with them. Instructions would be nice please.

I bought these for students to use at my sugarcraft class. For a starter kit they are excellent without a rough seam down the tools. Ideal for beginner's as equipment can be so expensive, I would suggest buying a better quality bone tool as pressure on this one may make it snap but overall seems good value

This little package really is good value. Extreamly versitile and lots of options to get creative.Although I orginally brought them for cake decorating, already I can see how they would be useful tools in other areas of crafting (especially with children).Well worth the money and the service was excellent.

The seams stick out on these tools meaning it took some time to sand them all but at this price I went ahead and sanded them and they work well now. Take quite a while to arrive.
