Cher - Live in Concert

Excellent Cher live, I would highly recommend this product.

NO DISLIKES.!!!How could there be when it share you're talking about I actually saw this concert in New York on my birthday many many years ago I won't say how many long time ago anyway I'm absolutely amazing the videos not like the live show but it's it's nice to have it and nice to be able to watch it and and it's in good quality in shape thank you

This filmed HBO special from the MGM Grand in 1999 features Cher singing her greatest hits. Cher is at her best here with amazing energy, beauty, eye-popping costumes, acrobatic performers galore, video montages, and a talented band with backup singers. Many under-appreciate Cher’s talent, but she demonstrates in this concert through powerful hit songs and a montage of her film and TV career that she’s been a major star over many decades. The concert ends on a crescendo with a performance of ‘Believe’ that will send chills up your spine (in a good way). Cher delivers a feel-good experience you won’t soon forget. It’s must see viewing!

Cher is simply the BEST. I was lucky enough to catch her live show this past summer and she put on an OUTSTANDING show, probably one of - if not the most entertaining show I've ever seen. This DVD of Cher live in Las Vegas captures her in all her greatness. She has never looked better! She is quite stunning and her voice is just as mesmorizing as it was 30 years ago. She goes through her hits one by one electrifying her performance. We even get to see old footage of her and Sonny and her own variety show. As an added bonus we get to see clips of her films. She transforms into several different looks through out the show looking more and more beautiful and sexy than before. She's truly a legend and an icon for all those young gals trying to make it in this business. She sings everything from "I Found Someone" to "Half Breed" to "Believe" I am hoping for the Farewell Tour to be released next so we can see "Song For the Lonely". CHER is one of kind :)

This dvd cost me a total of $7.55. For that price I feel I received a more than great experience watching this. It was a "used-good" condition and I really had to hunt for this for this price. I also purchased another dvd of this same concert which I have not watched as of yet because it has not arrived as of this post. That one cost me considerable more $ but is also described as being a "used dvd"., but in MUCH better condition. (So, we'll see). I was unable to purchase this NEW for some reason. Since the purpose of my purchasing this is to use as a gift, I plan to make sure this is suitable prior to my "gifting" it. (Hence my reason for buying this twice).Not sure if every one of these HBO Cher - Live Concert dvds will be in "box" format when you get yours.Mine WAS & it was a bit difficult to get used to at first. It doesn't fit/fill your complete TV screen. It is not Wide Screen either. As much concert as you see in the Center of your screen, the same amount is visible, (black) on both sides on your TV screen. So be ready for that. I tried adjusting my TV to no avail. However, after reading the dvd case, I will admit, nowhere does it state this is a Wide Screen/Full Screen dvd. So... my bad on that point for not noticing this beforehand.This is Cher in 1999. She looks & sounds beyond wonderful! I will say the sound quality is great!! If you purchase this as a "used" dvd, please consider seller - Hiswaybooks. They are rated very high on Amazon. The dvd arrived quickly & case & dvd were in excellent condition.All in all, if you are a fan of CHER - INDEED buy this dvd! Pure entertainment from start to finish.

I Believe. And who couldnt after watching Cher go from wearing , as she calls it, her "Braveheart meets Bozo the Clown" outfit, to her Techno "Believe" outfit with super awesome hair she closed the show with. Every costume fit Cher like a glove, and everything she wore was pure "designer of the year" quality stuff from Bob Mackie. Cher is the greatest,... Cher is nothing else but, Cher. Her voice is unique, her style is unique, her will power is unique, and her attitude and pesonal traits are unique. Her show was simply amazing. I kick myself every day for not seeing it when i had the chance, but this video helped me capture the feeling of what it ws like to be there. I encourage everyone to buy this video/dvd and the New album, "Living Proof". I love ya Cher!!!

I saw this first in Youtube,from the start to the end,i was pinned infront of the screen.Performed in MGM Las Vegas.Then i said to my self,I have to buy this DVD!Cher has a unique talent in entertaining,her voice,music,beauty & glamour,flamboyance,energy & creativity is impressive.You sing along,dance,drop your jaw everytime she comes out in different outfit,which she is known for with elegance and style that only her can do. I love this show,its total entertainment,Its spectacular! I'm sure I'll be watching this over and over again. Thank you Cher!

My sister and I are going to a Cher concert in March and we are both huge fans of her music so I decided to give this to her for Christmas to get her excited for our concert. I already own it myself and it is one of the best of her concerts.
