Expensive, but exactly as described
I purchased these to use with a water chiller for a laser cutter. The ID dimension was important as was the thickness of the tubing wall.

High quality, professional grade tubing at a commensurate price
I use silicone tubing for homebrewing beer because it is easy to connect, flexible, withstands high temperature and is food safe. Regular food-safe silicone is normally peroxide cured whereas this tubing from Cobetter is platinum cured. Platinum cured silicone is superior to the standard food-safe product in many respects – it’s stronger, has higher longevity, it’s more inert and is even safer for food. This product is high-quality professional grade tubing. It’s nicely packaged inside a relative branded large cardboard box and fully sealed inside two layers of plastic bags. The tubing looks very nicely finished. It’s slightly translucent and I could find no imperfections in the walls of the tubing. Even the ends were square and cleanly cut indicating attention to quality. The tubing was flexible without being floppy. The walls were quite thick (2.5mm) and were fairly stiff to compress. I attached a strong vacuum pump (Gast DOA) to one end of the tubing and sealed the other. It had no problem in withstanding this (~25.5 mmHg) vacuum – the walls didn’t collapse at all. I would expect it to handle high pressures, too, but this wasn’t important to me – I only need to use pressures up to about 30psig. I was able to check that the tubing didn’t inflate or burst at 60 psig with the Gast pump. One downside of platinum cured silicone is that it is more expensive to produce – high quality comes at a price. This tubing is more than double the price of other food-grade ¼” silicone tubing. It’s probably better than I need for homebrewing, but for medical, industrial processes, or scientific purposes it should be ideal.

Good quality silicone tubing
This seems to be good quality- works well for my application, draining a built in espresso maker. The silicone is thick and sturdy, which gives me confidence. Good price.
