This was the highest rated product in this price category but it won't stay in place no matter what and the slightest perspiration dissolves the gel pads. If you are a man combining a workout with some ab toning, you even lightly perspire, and this slips, where does it slip to? One thing I can say about it is, the current packs a punch...right to the groin! I never want to feel that kind of pain (for absolutely no gain) again. I returned it.

I got this yesterday and I'm using it on the maximum setting as I already have a strong core. It's fun but I wouldn't count on it as abs start in the kitchen.

I bought this as i was spending a lot of time a computer, however after a couple of days just stopped using it and now its collecting dust, as I cant work with it on, I had it on highest setting within a day, I could see it was making some difference, could not feel it in abbs really as they are already quite toned, I would say this is ok for someone new to fitness but more advanced gym goers there is no real benefit, maybe I just need a better one to get some results.

I bought this liquid chalk as some boulder gyms have started banning powdered chalk as it gets in the air and leaves a mess. I am not sure why it took me so long to try out liquid chalk as i have seen people use it in the past.The package comes with two pieces - a travel sized bottle and a larger bottle. This means you can refill the small bitesized bottle when travelling. It also means you don't have to carry so much and it doesnt make a mess of powdered chalk inside your bag - this is fantastic. The liquid chalk comes out in a not white colour as it is mixed with alcohol and it dries in no time at all to become extremely white and dry. It was easy to spread and apply and you have sufficient time to make sure you have good coverage before it completely dries out.A lot of people swear by liquid chalk in that once you apply at the beginning of your bouldering session- you will not need to reapply again. I have not found this to be the case. I needed to reapply a few times as the chalk eventually rubbed off due to the climbing holds scraping it or because of sweat. However, i dont think this is any worse than using powdered chalk as you need to reapply all the time anyways.I think it is better overall than powder, but is not the be all end all i expected. This product in particular i felt was a bit more expensive than I would have liked (especially as i needed to reapply) so don't know how good the value for money will be in the long run. I will revisit this review after using the liquid chalk more times.
