As expected
I bought these to plant some Pawpaw seeds. They are fairly flimsy, but they stand upright when filled with soil. They seem solid enough to not rip apart. They don’t look pretty, but I also didn’t buy them for aesthetics. My pack was missing the tools, but I’m indifferent about that. I wouldn’t have used them anyway. These seem like a perfect option for starting trees from seeds.

Really flimsy
Despite reading the reviews these are even thinner than I expected. They’ll work for me for fig cuttings, but they will not stand on their own. I propped them up against each other in a grow bag and they should be ok. But yes, very thin, flimsy, oh and stinky. 😕

Thin, flimsy, and horrible chemical smelling
I purchased these pots in hopes of using them for planting grape cuttings. The pots were incredibly thin and flimsy and do not really hold their shape as they should, which meant having to place them such that they did not fall over. And the WORST thing about them is that they smell heavily of the petrochemical smell that makes up the plastic material itself. They smelled so bad I left them by the door to try to air them out, and after a bit, you could smell them even 2 rooms away. The chemical off-gassing was that strong. With the fact I was using them for ultimately food plants AND that we have birds in the house that are super sensitive to smells that it could risk harm to them, we just decided we can't use them. Not worth the price or risk for us.

Sturdy
The tree pots are very sturdy when filled with potting soil. The thickness of the pots is little more than a trash bag. I think they will last for years. If fill properly they stand up right with not support. The ones I received did not smell at all. The tools were very small. Cute but of little use. I ended up boxing them up and gave them as a White Elephant gift to a real gardener.

Flimsy, but does the job
I am growing oak saplings and needed a deeper containers for the roots. I didn't realize these came with cute little gardening tools, so that was a fun surprise! The containers themselves are kind of flimsy. I saw another reviewer compare them to bags rather than containers. I would agree and say the material is a mix between a plastic plant container and a heavy duty bag. These came kind of smooshed down but took shape once I put soil in them. I followed other advice about putting some pebbles in the bottom to keep the containers sturdy. I'm still not confident these won't tip over, so I have them resting in oversized cups for extra support. They do smell like a tire shop as well; they definitely have a funk. All of that said, they offer space for the roots and are cheap. They're doing what I need. Would buy again.

Great for starting deep rooted plants.
I was surprised on receiving these to find that they are soft. Guess I didn’t really read the description carefully. Wasn’t sure what to make of that, but they work great. I used them to start eggplants. I wanted something that I could plant the seedlings in very deep so that roots would sprout along the stems, as with tomatoes. The plants have flourished. As they grew and became top heavy, I did have to give the pots some support to keep them from toppling over, but I like that they are light and will be easy to store for next year.First picture shows one plant in its pot. Second picture shows the entire group tucked into larger pots for support.Plants have grown quickly and I will be able to transplant to permanent containers soon, although they are already setting buds while still in these nursery pots.Highly recommend for tree seedlings, eggplant, or tomatoes.

Nice little pots
The pots are a great size for my cup and saucer vine. The overall pots are very flimsy and smelled really bad when I first purchased them. Letting them stay out side in the breeze for a few days helped. Loved the little tools!
