Hanes Men's X-temp Cushioned Ankle Socks (Pack of 12 Pairs)

Started off with a 6 pack and enjoyed them so much that I came back for a 12 pack.Originally when I purchased these I was very skeptical. They appeared to be super small to the point where I didn't think they'd properly fit my foot. To my surprise they had a LOT of stretch, so it fit my size 12 foot with surprisingly no problem. To be clear, the stretch is a comfy stretch. It doesn't feel constricting, but they are just tight enough as to feel secure in them not sliding down or rotating while you wear them. After getting the socks on, I was wary because they appeared to be quite thin once stretched. These socks were (comfortably) stretched so thin that I could see the color of my feet through the socks. I was very wary and expecting them to tear/rip easily. After a few months of consistently wearing and washing them, they've continued to hold very strong.This includes yard work, morning jobs and workouts, and a few times wrestling on rough (shoeless). These socks have proven to hold quite well eventhough they appear to be very thing. Not sure how they made a sock so thing, stretchy, yet durable, but they figured it out.In terms of breathability, they breathe incredibly easily. I've never heard of summer socks, but I'd definitely consider these summer socks if you're the type to wear sneakers most of the time. They breathe similarly to dress socks, yet are still very durable. Thanks to a rainy day I can say that when wet while wearing, they do get rid of water easily and quickly. They don't get totally dry, but they get dry enough to make the wearer happy enough to continue wearing the sock.The fact that now own 18-pairs should speak for itself. I'm loving these socks. The first 6 pairs have lasted almost 5 months of some very frequent wearing.For anyone wondering, these are the Hanes X-Temp Socks that have writing just below the toes. "Hanes" is in red, "X" is blue, and "Temp" is white.

My husband is really picky when it comes to clothing items. Well, not so much picky as things are hard to find because he is a tall guy (6'5") but he is not really heavy and he wears size 14 to 15 shoes. He works at a warehouse and must wear really heavy steel-toe boots. If he doesnt have durable socks he gets holes in the big toe area fairly quickly. He is a creature of habit so when I could no longer find his favorite brand, in his size, at the store anymore I went on a mission to find a new one. I took a leap with these Hanes socks. Initially, when I received them I was worried as they looked way too small. I gave them to my husband and hoped for the best. I was pretty sure I would be looking elsewhere. Thankfully these things stretch. A ton! He actually loves them! They are really comfortable. He has had them for several months now and there are no holes! They are also very good at keeping his feet from sweating. I have tried them at work a few times myself and I agree. The are quite comfy and they keep my feet cool and moisture free. Which is huge since I work in a nursing home where residents usually like the temperature pretty darn warm. I will purchase again.

As someone who is constantly on their feet, finding the right socks is essential for comfort and performance. Thankfully, the Hanes Men's X-temp Cushioned Ankle Socks deliver on both fronts and then some! From their superior comfort to their impressive durability, these socks have quickly become a staple in my wardrobe.

Not sure why this is under the "Big & Tall" category. These are just normal size 6-12 socks that are x temp with a light cushion on the bottom and breathable on the top. Fit and feel great. I do have other hanes socks that are gray on bottom with a lot more cushion, but these are just fine.

Well like most here reading reviews, I’m obsessed with regular changing and rotating my socks to resume that fresh clean feeling. So I bought a couple packs of these and they have outlived many other more expensive brands, durable and don’t fade like other brands that rhythm with spiky. What can be said about socks that hasn't been said over the millenia? They fit, feel comfortable, and do their sock job well.

Pretty much the perfect everyday-wear socks. They're tall enough that they won't get pulled down by the ankle opening of your shoes like most ankle socks, which is a very desirable trait. There's also no bulging stitch work so the possibility of something irritating grinding away at your feet with every step is essentially non-existant. The elastic works well and doesn't pinch whatsoever, though I am a slim person and cannot speak for the effects of the material on thicker ankles.I also noticed that when I remove my socks my feet aren't covered with massive amounts of dried black fuzz that had mixed with sweat. I'm on my feet all day and lesser black socks have ended up absolutely plastering that crap on my soles and between my toes. There's really just a modest-to-insignificant amount there after 10 hours of moving around at work. It gives me confidence that these won't eventually shed themselves into nothingness, at least not too quickly.Brass tacks of it: If I were going to be on an extended walking session where irritating foot things magnify ten-fold, like on a family vacation to a theme park, I would trust these socks.

Great socks for the money. Lots of pairs for the price. I like to have lots of the same socks so it’s easy to find pairs in a hurry from a pile of clean laundry. The material feels nice and has been durable for me so far. Fits as expected for size 9 shoes. Good height on the ankle for me as well, not too high and not too low.

Great value, ever since I started using them I never bought anything else.
