Exceeded Expectations – Excellent Quality and Value!
I was blown away by the quality of this 3DZWMAN Vertical Heat Pressing Machine! The build feels solid and durable, and it performs with precision every time. I’ve used it for a variety of brass inserts (M2 through M8), and the heat set process is smooth and consistent across the board. You definitely get more than your money’s worth with this set — it includes everything you need and then some. The range of tips and inserts makes it super versatile for different 3D printing projects. Setup was simple, and it heats quickly without overheating. If you do any amount of 3D printing and want clean, reliable threaded inserts, this is a must-have tool. Highly recommend!

Great machine
Works wonderfully, assembly was a little confusing. The steps are listed on the store page and come printed in the box, take note that they look like 1,2,3 6,5,4 This threw me a bit. It also came with an extra M5/Tnut which I was confused on what step I missed. Otherwise, this seems like a well machined piece of equipment, and I believe it'll last a long time. The included iron heats up incredibly quickly and has temperature control that my other soldering irons don't - helps to create as little smoke as possible. It's super easy to get straight presses now, in a consistent manner. I was able to press several in a row without tons of re-heat time in between. It's light, but also has some weight which makes pressing a breeze. It comes with the tools you need to assemble as well, so it's a full kit. The best part is that it also includes the heat insert tips! If I had realized, I could've saved some money on a different set I bought. However, the tips I bought fit this iron as well, so I'm not out anything. Finally, it came with a plastic cap piece that's not in the instructions; it goes on top of the vertical tower to cover the exposed aluminum and give it a finished look. Great price, great tool. Would definitely recommend and would buy again if needed.

Well worth the money
This does a great job of setting heat-set inserts into our 3D prints. Overall assembly was straight forward. It is not as rigid as I would prefer but that said, it is rigid enough. There is a slight deflection has you push down, causing a very slight loss of perpendicularity. It is not enough to cause a bad insertion, but I would have preferred it to remain square. Understand that for the money, this is still more than worth the cost. The iron works great and heats up quickly. This is a great addition to your 3D printing setup if you are making functional parts that require real metal threads.

reliable tool for clean heat‑set inserts
This vertical heat‑set insert tool has been a solid addition to my 3D‑printing setup. It heats quickly, holds temperature well, and makes it easy to install threaded inserts into PLA and PETG without warping the part. The vertical alignment helps a lot — inserts go in straight and seat evenly, which is a noticeable improvement over using a handheld soldering iron. The build feels sturdy and the motion is controlled enough to get consistent results. It does take up more space than a simple iron, but the accuracy you get in return is worth it if you do functional prints. After using it across several projects, the inserts have held tight and the tool has stayed reliable. If you want cleaner, more precise insert installation, this is a very dependable option.

Works well.
Nice unit. Works well, and a good design. The insert tips come loose, but not sure if that’s just how it is. Works as expected.

Works great. Comes with M2-M8 tips even though it doesn't say it does.
So far so good. I will say the instructions are definitely lacking in several areas but I was able to assemble it with minimal trouble. The red button on the soldering iron must be held for a few seconds to turn on (also no instructions provided for the iron). Smooth motion and great value for money in my opinion as it is all metal construction except for the iron holder being plastic. I modified a tip holder I found online and added a tslot nut to the side of it so you can hold all the tips easily (you can find it on printables). One thing that was slightly annoying is it didn't say it included m2-m8 tips so I purchased another set that I now need to return as it did in fact include all the standard sizes. For the price its hard to beat considering this iron sells for about $25, and the tip set is like $8 so you get the frame for roughly $17. There are tons of 3d printed options for a heat press insert available online for free but for the price its really hard to compare to a printed version.

Works for me
I had a project with 52 screw inserts and this tool made it happen! Assembly was fairly easy and the base has a little weight to it which makes using it a breeze. Some folks complain about the "sloppy" fit of the wheels. The instructions tell you the wheels are "loosened" for easy assembly. Once assembled the instructions tell you to tightend the eccentric nut, which is an oblong nut, and as you turn it the wheels get tighter on the gantry and arm... a 5 second adjustment and the wheels are snug. This machine is limited to height and I still had to "freehand" some of the inserts but for the price this is a great addition to my 3d printer tool inventory. A dedicated machine that I all I do is plug in and go. The soldering iron portion works well, heats up fast, and easy to increase and decrease temp. All in all, imo, agreat tool to have!

Well put together press- could have done with being slightly higher but that’s a small issue

A parte estan robustas.

Que c'est pratique !! Un bon moyen de mettre des inserts proprement ! Le mieux est de s'entraîner un peu avant.
