These ARE the closest I have found to date to the fruit slices from "back in the day". Each different fruit slice flavor tasted like the fruit they were supposed to be without the "chemical" taste others have BUUUUUT...the cherry flavor which shows as bright red came dark red ANNNNNNND to me...tasted like black cherry. My 3lb red box came with 6 flavors Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Black Cherry, Watermelon, and Lemon Lime. Now the fact that these come with Lemon, AND Lime, the assortment would have been MUCH better if it came with Orange and or Grape instead of the Lemon/Lime flavor. In my humble opinion but they were still great and they even got the different texture right in the white stripe/rind. I hope this helps someone else enjoy these "Blast From The Past" fruit slices!!!

Can't go wrong with this company. The candy was perfect. This type of candy is hard to find.For me it's the "rind" that sets it off.

I have ordered these before and everything was fine. This time around, however each slice was hard as a rock and in some parts of a slice as hard as a rock. I threw it all in the garbage and will never order these again.

I would normally buy a cheaper assortment of these candies but because it was Easter, I wanted to buy some pretty colors. My husband and son really liked them but didn’t think they were the best ever. For the price… I’d say steer clear but they are beautiful and I would still buy them for the colors!

I always get these for my brother as a Christmas side gift. By the time everyone is done opening gifts, they're gone. He loves them.

I don't eat sugar, but the family enjoys them (husband and two boys).

Product was cheaper than competitors. I will not order from here again. Stale. Soft squishy candy should not be firm.
