Whitewood Wooden Tap - Cork end

Good value

Just what we wanted, the tap is plastic though but that's not a problem for us, good value for money.

The main part is wooden but the spigot is plastic. This should have been made clear as I would not have bought it. It works perfectly well but I hate plastic.

Does the job.

The tap looked great on arrival but the plastic spigot was stiff. I inserted the tap into the wooden water barrel, and as soon as I turned the spigot the wood of the wooden tap split it's full length. At first, all seemed well, the tap still did the job. Nevertheless, when the rain came, the tap leaked from the split wood : I was loosing all my barrel water through the tap! I will have to buy a new tap, and return this split one to you and get a refund! One can clearly see the split on the photos above

Fast delivery, but tap is plastic. I chose this one because others on offer, indicated plastic.I assumed this product was going to superior by comparison

White wood wooden tap.Pros.Does the job it was bought for, old water butt barrel, no issues so far.Cons.None to speak of yet, does have a plastic component, would have preferred wood instead, but then it may fail sooner.Would buy again.

Put it on a wisky barrel used a drain pipe connector
