Nice long blade and very very sharp

I had to buy this as my existing bread knife iwasn't quite long enough to work with a slicing guide, this works well,I think the blade is possibly not quite as good on the other knife, but it doesn't tear fresh bread, slices neatly so not an issueAlso good for such things as slicing across tray bake cakes and brownies of course, as longer than the tin is wide

If you make or buy bread to slice up this is the real deal. Long and very sharp. Care is required. I keep this on magnets on top of my fridge (I'm the only person that can reach it) so it does not get dulled in the cutlery drawer.

Excellent knife, well worth the money. Purchased for use with a new bamboo bread slicer. cut through freshly baked bread with ease and gave lovely thin slices effortlessly. Good investment. Very sharp, keep in the plastic cover or buy a knife sheaf....and don’t let idiots use it.

Wanted something big enough to cut the large sourdough loaves from our local bakery, and that could go in the dishwasher. Does both very well.

Like approximately everyone under lockdown, my husband decided to learn how to make sourdough. What was once thoroughly acceptable to me, I.e sliced white, supermarket bread and my decade old bread knife, are now sad substitutes for the glory that is hot, fresh bread and one seriously good knife to slice it with.It’s so long, so sharp, so easy to hold and so gosh darn yellow.Cuts through the crisp crust like butter, no knife could out-perform it.Bravo!
