I use this for immune support and bone health.

Bottom line: this supplement is commodity D3+K2, nothing more. For a long time, I only took D3, but this past year discovered that it is likely better to be taken along with K2, because D3 promotes production of K2-dependent proteins which require K2 in order to function properly (research is ongoing). While I am not personally concerned about lack of calcium intake, some competing products include it because D3 and K2 help ensure that it is properly deposited in bones. For a long time, I took commodity D3 from Solgar and Life Extension, and then started taking D3+K2 that was recommended to me from Seeking Health. None of these products specify the sources used for D3 or K2. However, at current prices the D3+K2 from Seeking Health, a $0.30 capsule containing 125mcg (5000 IU) and 100mcg of K2 comes at 2x the cost as this supplement from Nature's Lab, so now that I see that the one from Seeking Health is no longer available here, this appears to be a satisfactory substitute offered at a very good value, although another product I've tried this past year from Microingredients provides an even better value.

This may be just another Vitamin D3 capsule, but the value of Vitamin D3 ingested into the body is so very important to one’s continuing daily health. It’s very difficult to rate any vitamin tablet unless it’s toxic. I have taken these for quite a few days now mixing them with other Vitamin D3 capsules and tablets to see any noticeable difference noting that no difference that I could see and nothing untoward happening to me. I can only assume that they are valid Vitamin D3 and generally are good for aiding in the absorption of calcium and may be helpful in the prevention of osteoporosis and osteomalacia. As we get older, this Vitamin is vital for keeping our bones strong so that if and when we fall, our bones will not break or not break as badly were we not taking Vitamin D3.I have a history of falling and in fact have fallen many times because of a balance issue. I have been taking Vitamin D3 for 10+ years and have yet to break any bones. A bone density test revealed that I have excellent bone density for a man of my age.I find taking Vitamin D3 very good for me and my PCP is adamant that I take D3 every day. I can only add that these are easy to take along with other pills I take each day and that when all is said and done, the daily cost is very small compared to the value I know I receive in taking these on a daily basis. It’s not so much that I see a difference as that when I do not take them that I would feel worse. It is very much like some prescription drugs I take as a maintenance drug—one I take regularly day after day, year after year—in that I can’t tell that I am benefitting from them but when it stop taking them, I feel much worse or, more applicable in my case, the more pain I feel when I stop taking the Rx.So, in conclusion, I can only claim that these are doing for the body what they are meant to do and that they do no more or no less than just that.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I think this is a very good D3/K2 supplement. It seems to be very reasonably priced (as of this review a bottle of 90 capsules costs $14.99 giving you a 3 month supply). One capsule delivers 5000 IU of D3 and 100 mcg (83% DV) of vitamin K2. I've reviewed a lot of D3/K2 supplements but I particularly like this one because only one capsule per day is the dosage and it contains more K2 than many other combo supplements. I take at least 5000 IU of D3 each day and usually more since it is such a powerful anti-viral and is so good for brain health. And in combination with K2, needed calcium is stored in bones and being 63, I don't want to get soft or brittle bones as I age. I think this is a very good supplement.
