Good value energy gels. Carb without the sugar
I'm a huge fan of SiS energy gels and have been using them for several years. I previously used them whilst running and have been using them for cycling for the last 5 years or so.When you're out in a long ride and need a carb boost for some energy to get you home, you can't go wrong with these. These appear to be suitable for vegetarians and have no added sugar, so you get a good 22g of carb per packet. The selection of flavours is good too. I love the pineapple one, but all flavours are fairly nice. They're also quite pleasant to take rather than others that can be either too sweet or sickly. These easily fit in a pocket or, in my case, the pouch on the back of.your cycling jersey.Overall, these are definitely recommended and a cycling essential if you easily burn up energy.

Gels on the run
A cardboard box containing six sachets of energy gel. The box has no flaps and needs to be cut or torn open. The gels are for giving you energy when running. The instructions say consume up to three per sixty mins during exercise. They are in sachets. Which tear open at the top. You will need a little effort for that. I found it easier cutting them. Each sachet has a different flavour. Since the contents are not water based or the like, it's like swallowing jelly when you consume them. Initially they feel a little too solid. But they go down easily enough. It might be just me expecting a drink that makes me feel that way.The product listing will tell you all you need to know about what's in them and the like. Should you be so concerned. But you know what? I think they work. Because after trying one, and getting it down, I really did feel startingly energetic. Who knows what more would do in one hour? But they would thus go quickly, so you really need to make these last, otherwise costs will mount up.I don't go running, so not really for me. But I think these do what it says on the tin. So if you need something like this, it's really worth a go.

Great for longer runs
I've never used energy gels before but both my boyfriend and I go on longer runs that require some extra fuel while out. These are perfect for popping in a bag or pocket, without having to worry about them getting squished or mushed. They're small, light and easy to eat while out. They don't taste particularly amazing, but they're pleasant enough and are convenient. The last run we went on with these was quite a warm one, and the gels were warm when consumed, so I might pop them in the fridge before heading out when it's a warm day, hopefully they are a little nicer if they are chilled. Great quality and a good option for 60mins+ runs.

Great Gels
These gels are great for giving you a short burst of energy whilst out running. However, the picture is misleading. It shows 7 gels, when in fact, the pack only contains 6.

Perfect for long runs over 10km
I use SiS (Science in Sport) gels for my long runs over 10km. For a half marathon I'll usually use 2 gels, sometimes 3.They are effective at providing energy, and being isotonic means you don't have to take them with water. They are easily digested. I quite like having a variety of flavours. I most like the pink grapefruit flavour, and least like the orange, but obvs that's just personal preference. It's easy to tear the top off while you're running, and squeeze the gel out without wasting any. They come just loose in a brown box.I've tried various brands and SiS isotonic gels are my top recommendation.

Best Energy Gels On The Market
I have used SIS gels since being a teenager when I used to compete in athletics - they are the absolute pinnacle of energy gels and I can personally vouch for the boost they give you when you need it.They can be used to sustain you throughout lengthy periods of exercise (e.g. football games or running long distances) or can be used to give a quick burst of energy just before an event (I used to use them just before starting the long jump). Give them 15 minutes to work and you'll suddenly feel rejuvenated and ready to go! Totally recommended.

Plenty of nice flavours
As a keen cyclist, I'm always on the lookout for handy and effective ways to fuel my rides. Energy gels have been a staple in my training for some time now, and I recently decided to try these Science In Sport energy gels. I was eager to see how they would compare to other brands I've used in the past.I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the range of flavours. There are some interesting ones out there on the market and these are at the more classic end of the spectrum though for good reason. The quantity of each pack was also sufficient to see me through my cycling routine. The tabs also allowed easy access to the gel on the move.In conclusion, I highly recommend theses for any cyclist looking for a handy and tasty way to fuel their rides. The flavour is pleasant, and the energy boost it provides is just what I need to push through my cycling sessions.

Flavoured energy gel for workouts
These energy gels come in 7 different flavours and are small enough to pack in a running belt or tuck in a pocket whilst on the go. The tabs on the top are easy enough to tear off, allowing you to squeeze the liquid inside into your mouth. The consistency is a semi-thick gel which I found surprisingly pleasant and enjoyable to get through. The flavours are good and not too sweet. I'd recommend these for anyone looking for energy boosts on-the-go.
