This review is for the 7oz jar of Immortelle Shea Body Balm.Pros:- The glass jar is lovely – nice and sturdy and the shape of the jar combined with the gold lid is pleasing to look at.- There’s an inner foil safety seal under the gold lid so you know your product is new.- It smells amazing! A very pleasant botanical scent, although it’s strong.- Great texture. A thick, rich cream that glides easily over skin and is massaged in easily.Cons:- I think this product would benefit from some kind of shrinkwrap or sticker around the outer yellow carton to keep it closed. The jar is so heavy that it busts right through the little flaps on the carton and is prone to being damaged.- While I think the scent is pleasant, it’s also pretty strong/concentrated. If strong fragrances tend to give you headaches, you may find this one overwhelming.- This is advertised as being “without any greasy or sticky effect” – after application, my arms and neck don’t feel greasy but my fingers and the palms of my hands do. I know I can just wash my hands after application but it seems a shame to waste these great ingredients!I have fairly sensitive skin and haven’t experienced any adverse reactions yet, but I’ll update this review if that changes.This product was made in France and has a recommended shelf life of 12 months once opened.

Very nice product, light soft feminine smell. Not heavy, very rich and absorbs quickly into the skin not leaving you with that sticky feeling. You do feel a slight tingle on your skin for some time to come after applying so it's doing something! I can't say I have used it long enough to know if it does more then hydrate, nor irritate and make me feel fancy. We will find out...I am going to make an effort to use this product regularly and see if it helps the condition of my skin. Definitely an expression of self love.

I am very happy with this creme so far. It is light and feels amazing on my skin. I love the smell. It has a lovely fresh scent that I am really into. Most importantly though, I really feel it has improved the skin on my neck, which is where I have focused using it. I am in my 40s and my neck is starting to show it. It was starting to get a tad crepey. I really feel in the couple weeks I've used it on most mornings and nights that I can see a difference. My skin on my neck seems more youthful. I am going to keep using it and hopefully I get even more improvement. Thrilled that I gave this a try.

This is a pretty lightweight body cream. It has an interesting scent, sort of herbal/citrus-y. The jar is shaped oddly so its a pain to get the stuff out of the bottom, but my skin feels great after using this cream so I got it all out. I prefer using this before bed so it doesn't get all over my clothes and things in my home. My skin feels soft and smooth for days after using this!

I am in love with this L'Occitane Immortelle Shea Body Balm!! I did see it said “body balm”, but for some reason thought I could use it on my face as well. Although it is “lightweight”, it’s way too “heavy” for a face cream!I have noticed a huge difference in my arms and legs since using this! The firmness and the change in my skin tone has been absolutely amazing and absolutely worth the price (75 at time of review), and I’m a “cheapy” when it comes to lotions and products like this! But this is definitely a great product to splurge on for sure!!With the shea butter, pea peptides and immortelle essential oils, they can’t go wrong!!I have fairly sensitive skin and my skin has had no adverse reactions and has responded wonderfully to this “balm”! Absolutely recommend and would for sure order again!
