The Gargoyle's Captive

I am a huge Katee Robert fan and this was another great addition to her Deal with a Demon series. While this book does reference other books in the series and in the overarching world it can be read as a stand alone. If you like a kinky book with a submissive male and characters that'll make you cry this is the book for you

For some reason the spines no longer have the cute window of the cover as of this book. Pretty certain it's to do with the fact I bought this in Australia AND Western Australia of all places but I'm a bit sad.Otherwise it came in perfect condition.

Definitely a fun and quick read. All of the Deal with a Demon books follow a similar formula of willing captor, conflict, spicy and consensual content (which is explicitly sexual), self-realization, healing, then love and care. None of these books have complicated plots and are fairly straightforward. They are fairly inclusive as far as body-type and gender identity goes. If you’re looking for a simple, quick, “dirty” book, this is definitely it.

I have been loving this series, but this one might be my favorite by far! Just loved Grace in this one!!

The story here got to me. Bram needs a hug. They both do. I'm upset that the spine of the book doesn't have a small pic like the other 3 did. It's a 1st-world problem, honestly.
