Aurifil50wt 1,422yd-White, Cotton, White, 1422 yd

I bought this for quilting as most of the professionals online recommended it - I am a beginner quilter. I have to say, I loathed it! It kept breaking all the time, even after I checked the tension and changed needles several times. It also frayed as I was sewing, even on just one layer of fabric. In its favour, I would say that when I did manage to sew a few lines without it fraying or breaking, it did give a nice, light effect on the fabric. In the end, I resorted to a bog-standard cotton, which worked really well. Perhaps it was just my inexperience but I wouldn't buy it again, it's too pricey.

I bought this thread as I had heard many reviews on You tube tutorials for quilting, and all I can say is they were right !!Also it works out cheaper than my usual leading brand.

Bought this after seeing it used on tv and was recommended for sewing machines, not clogging them up with fibres.Not had occasion to use yet, though impressed with packaging.
