Springfield XDS LT CCW IWB Leather Gun Holster New Black

I wasn't sure what I would get for a $23 holster, but for the money this was worth it. Seems to be well made. Has a snug fit, and for the size, that is a good thing. If the leather stretches too much down the road? well I'll have to see if and when that happens. Right now I am happy with it. I am not a large person, so small was a good thing. Let's face it. The XDs 45 is a 45 after all. A small 45, but a 45 none the less. So the small holster worked for me in the back of my hip with little to no visibility. Basically just a leather pouch, nothing ridged, well, except for the clip which holds it firmly to your pants/belt. Clip seems very strong and well made. Holstering the pistol took a bit the first couple tries, but easier than expected from reading other holster reviews. Clip holds the holster firmly in place when drawing the pistol. Like I said, nothing rigid so you have to hold the holster open a little to get the pistol back in again. Very happy.

I have more IWB holsters than I do handguns (5) and none of them are as comfortable to carry as the Pro Carry. I have had it three weeks and carry almost daily and sometimes all day. Other holsters I own are not comfortable from the outset, and others become uncomfortable after a couple of hours, that is not the case with this one. It is quick and easy to clip on, the metal clip is strong and there is no fear it becoming loose, the gun holsters and draws easily; and the XDs 45 fits firmly into the leather pocket. Another user suggested this is not "real" leather. I have worked with many different types of leather over my lifetime and can assure you, this is quality 100% leather. I am tempted to order another since anything I really like always seems to be discontinued.

It is was it is...Cheap! I bought this holster to add options to carry my firearm. After receiving this I was happy with how soft it was but then really looked at it in depth. Yeah it is comfortable but that's all it is. It sticks when trying to draw the weapon and is impossible to holster without taking it out of your pants and putting it back on the gun. If your buying this mainly for comfort then go for it. Just know that the practical application of a holster will not work with this one. Speed in drawing your firearm is key when it comes to self defense. I could see this being a better holster if you carry appendix style but I carry at 4 o clock so this is not made for that.Now on to quality...this is a cheaply made holster. After only drawing the weapon 4-5 times the threads showed signs of wear.Anyone that knows anything about leather knows that after getting leather wet it dries and hardens. My attempt to wet the leather and slightly form it to my gun failed. The holster went right back to it's original form leaving me to believe it's synthetic leather not REAL!At least at only $27 shipped it wasn't that big of a loss. Anyone wanting a quality leather holster your better off paying the higher price and having a custom made for you.

The leather is a bit rubbery, but for the price it is great. I am not too keen on the belt loop, as it is so tight it is difficult to remove the holster when taking it off. If you mess with it enough, the clip comes out from the holster and has to be reinserted. I have a similar holster from DeSantis that I like much better, but it is tan and I wanted a black one to not stand out as much if someone catches a glimpse. It does its job for the price, but if you want a long-term holster I would recommend saving up for another one. It will stay in my collection as a back-up.

I got this holster so I'd have something to use while my present holster was being made.It works fine for what it is, but I typically carry between 4:00 and 5:00 and it's a soft holster, so it can get a little dicey when holstering a DAO pistol. For a pistol with a mechanical safety it wouldn't be an issue - and you can hold the XD in such a way that the grip safety isn't pressed - but I was never 100% comfortable holstering.It definitely can be made to work, but something a bit more ridged would work a lot better.

The fit was good,the leather was soft and of good quality. There was very little break in time on the holster,Great Buy........ My package got lost on delivery and i called the Holster store about it . they were very helpful,they send me another package ASAP with no problem...I just want to say,.. Thanks Holster Store...

Bought to use as pocket carry/IWB holster option for Springfield XDS 3.3. Does not have the retention of a kydex holster, but it wasn't designed for that. Takes a bit of wiggling to get the gun fully in the holster to begin with but loosened up enough over time.

Don't know what else to say. It's just a holster. It is made precisely and i love the buckle . I also love to mention that i tried with few other sub compact handguns. Defiantly not good . Good product and fairly quick shipment. Thank you DT
