I should have tried this right away but I saved it because my husband had just bought me a different dashboard protector. When I did open it, 3 weeks later, I loved how easy it is to put up and it did lower the temperature in my S10 very quickly! It was a hot day and the outdoor temperature was around 90. The only bad thing is that the handle is not long enough to reach the console. I have to prop it up on a box. I'm hoping to find something better. And actually, my husband really dislikes it because it is not wide enough for the windshield. There's a gap of about three and a half inches on each side. Otherwise it's easy to use, opening and closing it is easy and I like the velcro strap. Also I might add a piece of Velcro on each end to hold it up better. It seems like it's sturdy material but only time will tell. I gave it four stars because of the size.UPDATE: I found that if I hold it in place with the visors detached and pulled slightly over the edges of the cover, I don't need the handle to prop it up. I have an older Chevy Silverado, and it works very well. I added a star. It is still not wide enough, about 2" on each side are not covered, but I like it a lot, and it cools the interior much better than previous dash protectors. Also, it seems sturdy, I have used it daily for 2 months+ and no sign of cracking or tearing!

Easy to open & close, works as intended. It's not wide enough for my SUV's front window, but I didn't measure before buying so it's my own fault. Still, I'm glad I bought it.

This is a piece of 💩 that is made so badly it falls apart more every use. Please buy something else. I gave it one star because you cannot give zero stars!

Gets the job done.My only issue is the stick. It would be nice if it was retractable otherwise it hits the radio screen and becomes really tight when putting down the visors.

What does window shade for my 2001 Blazer after I go to an accident with it and they totally vehicle? I brought it to my new vehicle which is a Saturn Vue but very simple and easy to install to your windshield. Just make sure you get the right direction. The buck will goes to the top not the bottom. It doesn't cover all of the window and still have a little bit on the edges but 99% of it is covered and it does make a difference. It drop the temperature in the car sometimes by 5° to 10° she pops open like an umbrella and folds down like an umbrella goes into a nice little carrying case. Very easy to store in your car. Depending on the size of your glove box. It'll fit right in there or it'll fit down beside the pouch in your little door

Can’t open this prior to putting it in the windshield. Also can’t open it prior to putting it there. Not a good design

I like this product. I use this on daily basis. Its easy to use just like an umbrella 🌂 plus when u fold it you can keep it at your hand rest area. I have Honda CRV 2023, after using this my car doesn't heat up much even on hot sunny day and allows me to easily cool down when i turn on the AC.

Purchased for a 2023Nissan Qashqai. Easy to open(exactly like an umbrella). Easy to insert into front windshield and I use the visors to keep it in place. It really keep the car and steering wheel at a cooler temperature. Very glad I purchased it!
