Carlos by Carlos Santana Women's Paisley Fashion Boot, Brown

I LOVE my carlos santana sawyer boot.. so much that i wore the leather through in one spot. unfortuantely they don't make them anymore.. they're exactly the same boots as these except with 1 1/2 inch heel, and a rounded toe. they looked like very cool motorocycle boots, but you could wear them with anything.These boots just look strange. The top part looks great, but it does NOT go with a pointy toe and a (very) high heel. it's like they're half cool slouchy casual, and half fancy high heel, and the combination does NOT work.

I love Carlos Santana shoes and these are absolutely great! They fit perfectly. the shaft fits right in the middle between my ankle and knee and since I’m short this is absolutely perfect because my already skinny legs don’t look as skinny as they do with a boot that is shorter. These are also pretty high. They are the perfect combination of a little bit of combat boot and a little bit of cowboy boot.

So glad I didn't go for the black (for which Amazon was going to charge double price than for the brown). Instead I used black shoe polish for the brown pair, and I got a gradient and distressed combo which I think is a better look than something from a store! They look real leather anyway. Doesn't feel like a flat sole shoe, of course, but more comfy than I expected; Chunky heel feels good for a long time. These really are mid-calf. Don't know why they haven't made these with like a two-inch heel since they do have a flat version (that looks unfeminine and workish.)

These Carlos by Carlos Santana boots are so beautiful and stylish and can match almost any outfit. I really liked them but unfortunately they are quite narrow near the toes. I’m a US 6.5 and I ordered a US 7 but I know that if I walked around in these boots I’d start to feel pain after 20 mins. I wish they weren’t so narrow in the front!!

I’ve owned many pairs of Santanas and have always been very happy with the fit and style. This pair of boots is no exception. Beautiful and comfortable. I’ve received lots of compliments.
