Finally can keep an avocado from turning brown!
I LOVE this thing! It actually works!! I put a half an avocado, with the pit, in this keeper and it will be fresh at least 4 days later. I haven't tried it for longer than that yet but even 4 days is great!! The secret seems to be when storing the avocado, press down on the avocado and move it around slightly so it makes a good seal against the plastic base. Close the lid and snap the latches into place. Refrigerate and you're good to go! Also it comes with a metal tool you can use to scoop the avocado from the skin. It was a little challenging the first time I used it but it gets easier with practice. But be careful - it's sharp. Both pieces are dishwasher safe. I put the plastic keeper in the top rack only. It's amazing the joy a person can get from such a simple thing. Thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend!!

It's great for storing an avocado if you use it the next day. Otherwise, use lemon juice to keep it from browning.

Terrible
After 1 hour of my avocado half being in this thing, it was black. This doesn’t work… not even a little bit
